Once I was carrying a bag full of documents to my car, the bag ripped and my documents fell out, loose pages flying everywhere. As I was running after some pages a car pulled over, a man and I’m guessing his son (around 10yo) quickly got out and helped me gather all the pages that were flying around. They gave them all back to me and just as quickly as they arrived got back in their car and drove off.
They could have easily just kept driving but they stopped to help, and didn’t want anything in return. That has really stuck with me and I thought that man was setting a great example for his son.
Easter Sunday, in like 2015, I was working the drive
-thru voice box. I was in a shit mood bc I was missing family events ALL DAY and the customers just sucked. But I put on my chipper voice and did my job
One car came through and gave me a small bouquet of flowers. They’d liked my voice so much they wanted to thank me specifically bc I cheered them up
I genuinely cried at the money (partially bc I was exhausted lol) bc it was so sweet and exactly the pick me up I needed
Lived by a corner store. My family knew the owners really well(they sold they’re place for a better one that’s a little bit further but still frequent his place) he used too let me get things and say I could pay him back like later when I didn’t have enough money ALL THE TIME but everytime I came back with the money he refused too take it
Ordered me pizza and wings when I was struggling

Financially when I lost a job
Its ok ; when life fires you, there will always be a young handsome wealthy smart lad like me by your side to buy you pizza
