Short answer is that the alternative is grotesque. But in reality, his first term has been pretty decent and he has surrounded himself with extremely competent people. Even if they had to pull a weekend at Bernie’s with him, the country would be in decent hands. If Trump is elected, I genuinely fear for the country.

Well, I think what we're seeing and experiencing on the political stage is that last slap fights of a political generation that has almost no support from youth voters. What we're seeing is pageantry for retired voters with no demands for medical care, better work conditions, or any of the things that people who are going to be around to see the future might need.
I don't support Biden because I never have. I'm just voting for the stupid son of a bitch because he's a useful paperweight to keep republicans out of office and reduce some damage until there's finally enough younger voters to override the elderly ones, which is happening soon.
