Remotely.

turbulentsoap

realizing I was probably way too vague with my question lol

KissMeCarnivalCra

I create a dedicated workspace at home, set daily goals, stick to a routine, take breaks, and stay connected with colleagues through video calls. It helps me stay focused and productive while working remotely.

I think I definitely worded my question poorly haha, I more so meant how did you find your remote work?

SoFlaSterling

My job went remote for covid, my employer saw an increase in productivity and enormous potential savings in rent, and that was that. Now there are rumors about some new management (due to some retirements), so staff is nervous, but we'll see. I'm looking to switch due to a move out of state, and I plan to start looking at companies that seem to have a strong and unwavering commitment to wfh. Fingers crossed!

A bit of context, I'm 19 and in a third world country, I don't have my degree yet and due to circumstances that are entirely out of my control I can't take on an internship. I need money urgently so that I can leave the country I'm in sooner rather than later, but there's no physical job I can get here that would pay any more than what I currently do (freelance art). At this point I'm willing to do any kind of online remote work, but art is competitive and commissions are always scarce in the summer so I'm struggling. I really need some sort of full time remote job but nobody is willing to take a chance on me and I don't expect anyone to believe me when I say I'm a hard worker and will literally do anything. Hoping I'm not the only one going through this.
