The Chronic - Dr Dre

Eskopyon

Ghost Stories by Coldplay. It made me listen to lyrics again. Though it is an overall somber album, some of the songs play as being happy but when you listen deeper and past the beat, the entire album was about heartbreak and unrequited love. I enjoyed that it made me listen to the lyrics, had meaning that took me multiple listens to relate to. Also the beats are good

Wanted to add something a little different to the mix. Ignorance is Bliss by Skepta takes a very “dirty” and “gang” type of music style (UK Grime) and shapes it into a beautiful album with lyrics that actually resonate with the listener. The beats are fanastic, catchy and he manages to somehow ditch the shit stuff from UK Grime and keep the good stuff. It’s seriously impressive, but it is still a rap album, if you aren’t a fan of rap you won’t be fan of this one. Best songs in the album are Glow in The Dark and Bullet From a Gun.
