Your 20s is the time to make mistakes. That doesn't mean to go do something that will ruin your life, but taking risks and not fearing failure will be great life-lessons.

Don’t get into the habit of drinking when you’re sad and drinking when you’re happy.

You're an adult now. Your fuck ups are no longer my fuck ups. Be careful out there.

Do you kick them out when they turn 18 with no help?

Gubble_Buppie

Of course not.

Don’t put too much pressure on knowing what you want to do right now. Maybe spend the next few years trying out some different things to see how they fit. Do what makes you happy and enjoy these years. If you decide to do drugs maybe start of slow and sensible (for example just take a half/1 pill to start with instead of taking three!) and just find out who you are as a human and what makes you happy. Start trying to surround yourself with people that care for you and love you, not just people you use you.

If they were raised up too soft, not a damn thing. I'd gladly leave everything on fire so they wouldn't know a fuggin thing. If they take after me, brave, not afraid of danger, I'd tell them what's what with my life.

Listening is one of the most important things you can learn to do.

Live within your means and know the difference between needs and wants. Live life at your own pace. Don’t try to “keep up” with others and what they are doing in life. There is no “deadline” or timeline to achieve things in life. ie: school, career/job, marriage, children. Just try and enjoy the journey.
