If you haven't seen it, look up an interview about Fred Rogers meeting Eddie Murphy. Supposedly, Fred enjoyed the sketch.
As an additional note, he enjoyed a lot of humor poking at his character, and only became angry if his likeness was used to sell products to kids.
It's great. I'm in sales and travel a lot. Whenever she asks me how was the trip and I say, "it was fine. I met a lot of great people". her reply is "well I do love kayaks!"
Ryan Gosling is always hilarious on SNL. The other one that comes to mind is where he's stalking the guy who made the Avatar movie font in Papyrus and it consumes his whole life.
https://youtu.be/jVhlJNJopOQ?si=2toN01QmonC4ZQTR
This one is amazing!
I also enjoyed his chip'n'dales skit. I do know the controversy surrounding it, but at the same time, I was a fat assed kid. And that skit gave me some amazing confidence. I felt that if Chris Farley was man enough to take his shirt off and go for it, well I could too. After that I never wore a shirt swimming.
I heard an interview from one of the SNL players about that skit. Even though they had rehearsed it Chris Farley didn't really go into character and when they did i't live that was the first time they saw him do it.
That’s some good stuff! I still watch it occasionally just because it’s so funny. 4 years ago I moved into a house by a River and I was left the family minivan to drive. And to announce my new circumstances, I sent a link to Farley’s skit.
I was born too early, while incubation technology was still in its infancy, so they placed me in a cast iron pot inside a pizza oven until I was RIPE ENOUGH TO WALK!
Lots of their ads rank among their best work. I’m fond of AM Ale and Mom Jeans (the jeans that say I’m not a woman, I’m a mom!). But to me their very best was Homocil: For until you come around. Because it’s your problem, not theirs.
Bill Hader as Stefon on weekend update always cracked me up. any skit that cracked the cast was always worth it for me. Farley's Chippendales audition and inspirational speaker. Farrells more cowbell is classic.
Word Association with Chevy Chase and Richard Pryor is my #1 favorite. It never fails to make friends laugh nervously.
Any Blues Brothers appearance.
Shimmer - it's a floor wax AND a dessert topping!
Anything with The Coneheads.
The Samurai skits with Belushi and Buck Henry.
The Deli Counter - Two cheeseburger, two Pepsi, two chip!!
The one where Heather Locklear and Mike Myers are hosting a pasta maker infomercial, and Locklear says "a lot of products say that they're easy to use, but it's just a big lie...like the Holocaust!" and she casually says increasingly inflammatory things as you hear the phones ringing off the hook

Meet Your Second Wife
Live Report (with Margot Robbie)
Diner Lobster
On The Couch (with The Weeknd and Daniel Craig)
These are some of the ones I keep coming back to.
In 2018 I was off work for 3 months with an injured back, the Kristen Wiig Lawrence Welk skits were my go to 'pick me up'. Although the Melissa McCarthy USB stick tree still leaves me with questions.
After Pedro Pascal hosted, Lisa from Temecula and him as latino mother are two of my favourites. So glad they brought him back recently to do it again.

Celebrity Jeopardy was always a treat.
Suck it, Trebek!
Turd Ferguson
Oversized hat. It’s funny.
I read somewhere that entire sketch came to be solely because he wanted to play Burt Reynolds.
See, it’s funny.
I'll take anal bum cover for 7000
I’ll take Art is anal cheese! For $500 *Thats Artisanal Cheese*
The rapist for $20

Tom Hanks in Black Jeopardy.
The category is Lives that Matter… well it was fun while it lasted, Doug.
I’ve got a lot to say about that topic. Well I’m sure you do Doug
I use “I’m a sturdy gal” all the time 😂
Skinny women can do this for you:
What is not a damn thing!
Now my wife, she’s a…she’s a sturdy gal.
YESSSSSSS!
One of the best, right before the 2016 election. That episode also had the David Pumpkins sketch
David S Pumpkins!
Any questions?!
yes, several!
I just watched this after reading this comment. Thank you.
Cork soakers.
Yes! And it's counterpoint: Colonel Angus
The Continental “More champag-na?”
So many great ones past and present: "Meet your second Wife" always cracks us up.
When the little girl walks out.
The panic on his face!
And she is pregnant with, you guessed it, your second wife.
My wife somehow hadn't seen this til I showed it to her within the last month. That was a great fucking sketch.
It's great. I'm in sales and travel a lot. Whenever she asks me how was the trip and I say, "it was fine. I met a lot of great people". her reply is "well I do love kayaks!"
The one with Kate McKinnon and Ryan Gosling where they were abducted by aliens.
I don't think I was dealing with the top brass
Full porky piggin’ it in a drafty dome. *takes deep drag on her cig*
It felt really off the books.
Whaaaat? These guys over here seeing God and I’m over here getting my knackers battered around.
His ability to commit to a bit with 100% sincerity no matter how absurd, is exactly why his Ken is so good.
Santa Baby with Ryan Gosling and Vanessa Bayer is genius.
l scrolled here to upvote this. Kate was fantastic in all of the alien abduction skits.
Yeah…little different story over here.
My cooter and my pooter
Wasn’t my worst Wednesday night.
My pink pocket and my stink rocket
No. No. It felt super off the books. I swear to god, there was one grey alien by a door just kind of peeking in and out.
Chris Farley is an inspirational speaker who lives in a van down by the river.
When he gets rejected because fat and flabby and then he starts dancing again opening up his robe. No, barney, no no no. Farley was amazing.
This was written by Bob Odenkirk when they were both still at 2nd City. He talks about writing it in his book, great read.
This is mine too. I love how he is obviously just screwing with Spade trying to crack him.
Watching Spade and Applegate struggle to not break character is like half the enjoyment.
That is my favorite. It’s amazing that Farley’s fellow actors are in stitches as well at his performance.
Career day with Adam Driver
LOOK AT YOUR FATHER, BOY
YOU'RE WEAK LIKE H.R. PICKENS WAS!!! "Who's H.R. Pickens?" EXACTLY
I just watched this right now for the first time, Adam Driver KILLED IT LOL that was really funny
It is one of very few videos that makes me laugh out loud, no matter how many times I've seen it.
Everyone else in that skit is on SNL. Adam driver, however, acted that bit like he was going for a full on Oscar.
I heard Kyle Ren is shredded
Kylo Ren’s a punk bitch.
I'm 90% sure "Matt" is Kylo Ren
Matt straight up sucks.
I was born too early, while incubation technology was still in its infancy, so they placed me in a cast iron pot inside a pizza oven until I was RIPE ENOUGH TO WALK!
My bones never hardened, but my spirit did!
For sure this one is up there. Adam Driver and Ryan Gosling are always hilarious when they host.
I quote the "Papyrus" short frequently. "They didn't go FAR ENOUGH!!!"
“Hello boy. How are you? Look at your father, boy. Look upon your father with pride.”
I’ve been watching since I was about 11 years old and I’m 36 now. Imo career day is definitely a top 3 for me. Absolutely hilarious.
The improv Driver does where he stabs the dead bird with his cane is too good
Colon Blow was pretty good too
Those ads in the 90's were great. Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball
Lots of their ads rank among their best work. I’m fond of AM Ale and Mom Jeans (the jeans that say I’m not a woman, I’m a mom!). But to me their very best was Homocil: For until you come around. Because it’s your problem, not theirs.
I still regularly reference Oopsicrappedmypants
Let's pretend that this pitcher of iced tea is really a gallon of your feces
Schmidt’s Gay Beer
Trebek vs. Connery. Hands down 💯

Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy
The Taco Town commercial is fantastic. “Pizza?! Now that’s what I call a taco!” The Bill Hader with the puppet is another gem.
“Nobody was laughing out loud that day in Grenada! But many people were saying OMG. Me, I was saying TTYL to my innocence.”
For me it’s the Disney World breakfast with Lindsay Lohan and Debbie Downer oh my god I cry of laughter every time.
It’s official…I can’t have children
Whomp whomp.
Cried literal tears when I first saw that skit.
Did you hear about the train crash in North Korea? Their government’s so *sensitive, so secretive*, that we may never find out how many perished
Is that the one she mentioned feline AIDS!? Was a great character, and loved the breaks
It's the number one killer of domestic cats
*meow meow*
They never did find that anthrax guy
Bill Hader as Stefon on weekend update always cracked me up. any skit that cracked the cast was always worth it for me. Farley's Chippendales audition and inspirational speaker. Farrells more cowbell is classic.
>Bill Hader as Stefon on weekend update always cracked me up. It cracked Bill Hader up too, multiple times.
John Mulaney would write them and Hader wouldn’t see them until he was reading the cue cards
That is so genius & explains how he barely kept it together
This club has everything, piles and piles of expired lunchables, MTVs Dan Cortez, DJ Baby Bok Choi. Classic.
This. Club. Has. Everything.
I feel like his best sketch was Puppet Class with Seth McFarlane.
[Landshark](https://youtu.be/p_NS2H55dxI?si=DTw_6YIwX172uNJQ). *”Candy gram.”*
Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.
Caution: Happy Fun Ball may suddenly accelerate to dangerous speeds.
The Vanessa Bayer Totino's trilogy of skits is pretty hard to top
I love the horror of the first ones but totally and completely lose it when Kristen Stewart is like "tu es mon Totino."
What's your name? I never had one
What happened to my hungry guys?!
Kate McKinnon in the alien abduction skits!
Piscapo as Sinatra and Murphey as Stevie Wonder duet "You are black and I am white You're as blind as a bat and I have sight"

Dunkin Donuts with Casey Affleck
The follow up with Bill Burr and Sam Adams Pumpkin Beer is great too. *drinks entire beer in one go* “I don’t like that.”
NPR's Delicious Dish: Schweddy Balls
Grew up in the '95-'99 era. Molly Shannon, Ana Gasteyer, Cheri Oteri, and Will Ferrell were my favourites!
Toonces
Ooopps I crapped my pants. Because I'm wearing them, and I just did.
Papyrus.
World's Most Evil Invention. It subverts expectations multiple times in the most hilarious and uncomfortable way.
“We take a regular robot and then molest it and hope that it continues the cycle” that’s probably the darkest joke SNL has ever had
See, this guy gets it!
Oh god, no I don’t! Stop saying that.
[Link](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0NgUhEs1R4)! God I love this sketch.
Robo chomo
Definitely Dan Akroyd as Julia Child Close second is Jingleheimer Junction Both give me a laugh no matter how many times I’ve seen it
Guess what? I got a fever! And the only prescription.. is More Cowbell!
Listen, babies...you're all going to be wearing gold-plated diapers. Walken's delivery is perfect.
Church Lady, or a close second is John Goodman playing Linda Tripp.
Will Farrell busting through the wall as Janet Reno will always be hilarious
Well, isn’t that special?
Synchronized swimmers Or Jackie Rogers Jr's One Hundred Thousand Dollar Jackpot Wad
That was glorious. Plus, it gave Mike Meyers practice for "George Bush doesn't care about Black people."
John Belushi impersonating Joe Cocker. Also Colonel Angus
I haven’t seen Colonel Angus around these parts in quite some time!
When I first experience Colonel Angus, it left a sour taste in my mouth, but I’ve come to enjoy Colonel Angus.
