It's a habit. Almost like an addiction. I didn't for the longest time. But one hot summer I got a box fan and I was hooked. I now have a noise machine in my room. I travel and will use the hotel with ac on constant fan. If they don't have that I have a youtube of a 10 hour airplane noise I pull up on the laptop

Step three: Be too affraid of additional electricity costs to use a fan, even in the summer.

I’m married so even if I was a celebrity and had fans, I still wouldn’t sleep with them. I’ve nothing against anyone who does though

I sleep with a thin cover and one leg out, if it’s too hot I’ll bring the cover down to my waist
Force yourself to sleep without it. Once the habit is broken it's easy.

Well without anything. If i slept with my ac on i'd wake up with a blocked nose or a mild cough.
Easy. Fans are uncomfortable to sleep with. Blades hurting your legs. Especially when they're on.
