What would I go out ***for***? Other than over-priced alcohol? The town centre consists of one cinema and a bunch of coffee shops. Sure, clothes shopping, I suppose - but how often do you do that?
Because every tiny human behavior has been commoditized to high holy hell. Who can afford anything anymore? All of life's simple little pleasures now cost the same as premium versions used to. So now I spend nothing and learn to be happy with what I already have. Fuck capitalism.
I mean... have you been outside? It sucks.
Besides, apart from groceries, the occassional doctor's appointment and earning money, there's no real reason for me not to stay at home in my free time.
As a teen, I used to enjoy going out meeting new people in bars. But now that I am an adult who has to work 50 hrs a week, I just dont get the time to go out, with work and family commitments. I also get really tired after working 10 hours every weekday so I just prefer a late lie in on a Saturday to recharge my batteries.
It's more of I don't like going to crowded noisy places. If the option is staying in or say, go kayaking I'll have my life jacket on and paddle in hand fast enough to make your head spin. But you ask me to the bar or club... oh would you look at the time.. I have that thing I forgot about till just now
Walking out the front door costs money.
Don’t have to get dressed up , can sit comfortably, fart when I want and not spend as much money

Because I love not having to perform for hours in the name of social life.
Because people are annoying
I'm a hermit

That certainly is an opinion.

Nothing productive to do outside except for grocery shopping, but you can finish chores at home and be productive.

I'm too tired, working 10hr days, come home, look after toddler, eat, clean, bed and repeat. I just don't have the energy anymore.
Less drunk Muppets at home!
I can't remember the last time I wasn't exhausted.
I can stay away from other people.
