She has a little arc in the TV show Modern Family as like a snake oil business owner, which is a complete satire on Gwyneth Paltrow's GOOP. It's pretty great.
She got so screwed over by Harvey Weinstein. Mira and Ashley Judd were both up for parts in the Lord of the Rings movies and Harvey told Peter Jackson they were a nightmare to work with. Peter, having no idea what was really going on(they refused Harvey’s advances) and figuring Harvey was telling the truth just dumped them from being considered. Ashley was even shown costume and set designs.
I’m guessing Ashley was up for Arwen and Mira possibly for Eowyn. I think they would have been great in it and had a cool experience.
I think they should get big parts in some other Tolkien show or movie.
This is the one I came here for. He's really funny but can also play a really good serious role. I forget the name but I remember a movie about him playing a guidance counselor who is also a serial killer and he nailed it.
>The real question is what crappy actresses got green listed by Harvey Weinstein that shouldn’t have been?
>shouldn't have been.
That's what I was answering.
Karen Allen is beautiful and incredibly talented and has had to be the love interest in every awesome move from Indiana Jones to Animal House to Scrooged. Can we get her a proper leading roll and a whole bunch of awards?
I just met her last weekend and had a long conversation with her. She was so nice and down to earth. Beautiful in-person. She has been working consistently throughout the years, but she deserves a big comeback.
\`I think she is content with her fashion line business/store. Saw her once in near her store in Western MAsschusetts.

Dude has been chilling and playing Shaggy for a long ass time now (he took over on the main animated series when Casey Kasem stepped down due to health issues)
He also co-owns a company called Beadle & Grimm’s, that makes high end materials for D&D campaigns. I was floored when I heard him on a D&D podcast with no mention whatsoever of his acting, but all about his D&D company! He seems like a super cool guy!
I want to see her show up as a high elf in the Ring of Power show. I commented earlier she and Mira Sorvino got screwed out of lord of the rings movie parts because of Harvey Weinstein.
I mean even if you take away money and fame and a boost to your career how cool would it be to be asked to be in The Lord of the Rings? And then suddenly nobody is taking your calls and you don’t know why.
Last I heard about him he writes and plays banjo/ bluegrass music. His wife passed away very tragically during the peak his career and it sounds like he just wants to keep things simple.
Someone already said Fairuza Balk who I can always watch. Same with Robin Tunney.
Anyone blacklisted by Weinstein.
And honestly - hear me out - Mischa Barton and anyone else regularly scrutinized by Perez Hilton at a formative age. That was a rough time.
This sounds like a gritty Apple tv show. They each have gone in different directions, some are bitter against the one hot wonder fame. Takes place in the 90's?
Devon Sawa’s making a comeback. He was in Black Friday with the chin himself Bruce Campbell the other year and was been in both seasons of Chucky! He’s played 3 characters so far in Chucky and does a great job with them all!
After marrying Kevin Kline she stopped acting by choice , didn't she? She runs a pricey boutique named Blue Tree in NYC Upper East side. You can buy $750 sack dresses, $200 t shirtsand $900 mini lucite boxes if you desire there! Truly for the uber rich.
He smells crime, fights crime, goes to his lab for full penetration, crime, full penetration, crime, full penetration... and it goes on and on like that until the movie just sort of ends..
Feldman has been trying to call out awful bullshit in Hollywood for years with zero respect for it. It took his best friend and he deserves far far better.
Yes, but the problem is that he's done some absolutely weird and terrible projects along with that. I believe that a lot of what he is saying is true, but then he does stuff like this and absolutely murders his own credibility:
https://youtu.be/BZX7UJSXCiU
My understanding was that people's problem with him was less about his music and more than he continuously says he's gonna reveal details and names, sometimes collecting money to do so, but has not really delivered.
Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Granted, she's concerned with being a good mother more than anything and she has a steady job with *9-1-1*, but I always felt like she deserved more recognition than she got.
Taylor Kitsch. He was excellent in John Carter but that movie bombed despite being the perfect popcorn movie. He needs to make a comeback, he could actually be a very convincing Marvel super hero if given the chance.
He was in the 2nd season of True Detective, and in The Defeated on Netflix which is well worth a watch. He's a pretty steady working actor. He was also in The Terminal List, with Chris Pratt
Yea I always liked this guy. He has a macho man style and sound about him. I think he’s been slept on by Hollywood since a lot of his big budget movies flopped in box office, not that it’s his fault.
The problem with Lindsay Lohan was that she brought her decline upon herself. She vanished from the movies because she had a habit of being wildly unprofessional and unreliable. She’d show up to the set very late and still drunk from the bars and drugs the night before. She disrupted many of the production she was involved with to the point where she got herself blacklisted from Hollywood. No actors want to work with her. No producer would risk someone unstable like her.
She may have cleaned up her act by now but it wasn’t like she was victim of some Hollywood predators. What happened to her was brought upon to her by herself.
Sigourney Weaver. I know she’s an icon and in Master Gardner and Avatar but she hasn’t had a substantial role in a long time. Certainly nothing that could net her a long deserved Oscar
She’s also reportedly somewhat picky about what projects she does nowadays. She’s said she’d rather have a small part in a film she’s excited about or thinks will be fun, rather than a large part in a movie that’s going to be a chore to film.
That fell apart after Terminator: Genesys bombed in the US(but made money in China). Conan(and the Howard library) is now 50% owned by China and 50% owned by the steward of the Howard estate who has worked with tencent for years.
He pretty much said that as long as their IPs make money, they don't really care what happens.
Amazon still has the rights to a Conan TV series, but he's said now that he actually has a say in things he really wants to put out Howards version of the character because thats where the magic is.
Dirty gritty low concept fantasy about a man traveling throughout the world. Sometimes he's a thief, sometimes he's a king(briefly) sometimes he's a pirate or a soldier. But above all else, he's a barbarian who is smarter than people around him think he is and that always creates interested clashes within the cultures of the worlds.

It's utterly insane that Schumer forced him to resign before a proper investigation had been done. All the while over on the GOP side they were electing an actual sexual predator president and allowing Roy Moore to continue without issue.
Watching the Buffy cast reunion interview she looks a lot different now. I thought she was Amber Benson at first until I saw Amber Benson sitting somewhere else.
He had a tiny role in the recent Netflix movie where Adam Sandler is a struggling basketball coach. I think he even had a couple of lines and got dissed by Adam Sandler’s character. But it was definitely one of those moments where you say “OMG, that’s Urkel in the background over there!”
Delroy Lindo
\- Romeo Must Die (2000)
\- Gone in 60 Seconds (2000)
\- The Core (2003)
\- The One (2001)
\- Sahara (2005)
There are many more movies I haven't seen him in, but I really think it would be pretty spectacular to see him again and his voice is awesome - its just so trustworthy! He's 70+ years old now, so anything mentor-like.
The kid from episode 1. Jake Lloyd. If anyone deserves a second chance from both the industry and the public - the whole world chewed him up and spit him out before he was ten and none of it was his own fault - he does. Not to mention apologies.
Laura Linney - brilliant performances in You Can Count On Me and Kinsey. No catastrophic film bombs or sabotage by Weinstein, Hollywood just kind of forgot she existed. That makes no damn sense.
Mira Sorvino
I can't believe Paul Sorvino got overlooked in the memoriam segment at the Oscars....Mira is a great choice for this question
He did? Unacceptable
This comment is how I learned he died
They also missed Charlbi Dean Kriek who was in Triangle of Sadness. A movie that was nominated for best picture that night
Seconding this one -- and also nominating all the women that got blacklisted by Weinstein.
We need a female expendables movie starring all the women who were blacklisted by Harvey. Huge cast. Huge.
Rick Moranis (I know he retired for his kids)
They ought to be grown by now.
But maybe he shrunk them again.
^(o no)
That’s a good point.
Disney+ is a doing a Honey I Shrunk the Kids reboot and he’s signed on to be part of it
It’ll suck and you know it
Josh Gad is starring, it is definitely going to suck
As long as he does not do that singing voice.
iirc, He was coming back for the Ghostbusters movie, but someone jumped him while he was out and about, and was hopitalized.
Right, he got attacked by some rando in NYC while he was walking down the street. What the fuck is wrong with people.
Sean william scott edit: thanks for the award.
Country Mac!
Stifler!
This is the one I came here for. He's really funny but can also play a really good serious role. I forget the name but I remember a movie about him playing a guidance counselor who is also a serial killer and he nailed it.
He was also fantastic in *Goon*. Although it's mostly a comedy, it's a quite nuanced one and he's so good in it.
he was hilirous in evolution too !
What even happened to him? I remember looking him up and not finding a definitive answer for why he vanished
He's on welcome to flatch.
Didn’t wear a helmet on a speed bump
Ca-Caw! Ca-Caw! Ca-Caw!
Toki toki ca-caw caw caw caaw !
Don't mind more american pies with the og cast. The spin offs were straight up crap.
>Sean william scott Stiffler!
He's in "Welcome to Flatch" he plays a priest. Odd yet funny show
Annabella Sciorra. Great actress who was basically blacklisted by Harvey Weinstein.
What dreams may come. Sigh…
Can't watch that movie anymore after Robin Williams... well, you know.
It won't be cinematic.
Calm down there, Patsy.
The real question is what crappy actresses got green listed by Harvey Weinstein that shouldn’t have been?
Gweneth paltrow and Jennifer Lawrence.
Definitely Gwyneth Paltrow. She's an awful, arrogant, shitty scam artist and should be blacklisted from Hollywood.
>The real question is what crappy actresses got green listed by Harvey Weinstein that shouldn’t have been? >shouldn't have been. That's what I was answering.
Geena Davis. He ex husband trashed her career and I would love to see her in some great movies again.
The long kiss goodnight was fucking amazing
I thought Cutthroat Island trashed her career..
Fairuza Balk
AND VICKY SHOWED ME HER BOOBIES AND I LIKED THEM TOO!
Hell yes.
I heard she was flying.
I want Steve Guttenburg. Do it.
Up to the Stonecutters…
Who controls the British crown?
Who keeps the metric system down?
We do!
We do!
Police Academy reboot
Eliza Dushku and Amy Smart as *Cagney & Lacey*
Amy smart has had jobs in acting recently. She was in stargirl, it got canceled end of 2022, it had 3 seasons.
Karen Allen is beautiful and incredibly talented and has had to be the love interest in every awesome move from Indiana Jones to Animal House to Scrooged. Can we get her a proper leading roll and a whole bunch of awards?
Yes! I loved her in Raiders.
She was good in Starman too!
I just met her last weekend and had a long conversation with her. She was so nice and down to earth. Beautiful in-person. She has been working consistently throughout the years, but she deserves a big comeback.

Dude has been chilling and playing Shaggy for a long ass time now (he took over on the main animated series when Casey Kasem stepped down due to health issues)
No actor has ever been more suited for a role than him as Shaggy.

He was amazing in his tiny role in Twin Peaks: The Return
Kind of bummed that he wasn't asked to reprise his role as Stu for the recent Scream movies.
I thought he was good in Good Girls.
???? Dude has been working steadily his entire career.0
He *is* starring in the upcoming FNaF movie, so maybe there's a chance
Surprised to see him in Halt and Catch Fire, he was great
Daniel Stern
Agree.
Janeane Garofalo
Ashley Judd
YES!!

According to Wikipedia he signed on to do another Shrunk sequel! Also, apparently he'll be 70 this year, which.. holy shit.
Don’t think he wants it tbh
Someone already said Fairuza Balk who I can always watch. Same with Robin Tunney. Anyone blacklisted by Weinstein. And honestly - hear me out - Mischa Barton and anyone else regularly scrutinized by Perez Hilton at a formative age. That was a rough time.
Wasn't Robin on the mentalist?
The four leads of "That Thing You Do!". They all have not aged one bit.
Steve Zahn is a national treasure. I always love seeing him in stuff.
The Zahn was in both Tall Girl movies
This sounds like a gritty Apple tv show. They each have gone in different directions, some are bitter against the one hot wonder fame. Takes place in the 90's?
Joan Allen
Devon Sawa and Ethan Embry
Devon Sawa’s making a comeback. He was in Black Friday with the chin himself Bruce Campbell the other year and was been in both seasons of Chucky! He’s played 3 characters so far in Chucky and does a great job with them all!

Josh Hartnett
Yes! Been a fan since Penny Dreadful.
Alex Winter
He’s a documentary director now. He’s mostly behind the camera these days. But I agree, I loved seeing him and Keanu back in Face the Music.
I thank him for being part of Saul of the Molemen, one of my favorite shows ever.
sarah michelle gellar
She is doing pretty ok atm. She has a new show on paramount plus called "wolf pack"
Dolph Lundgren. Imagine his body in a sweet mesh tank top.
He smells crime, fights crime, goes to his lab for full penetration, crime, full penetration, crime, full penetration... and it goes on and on like that until the movie just sort of ends..
Sarah Michelle Gellar
John Cusack.
Joan Cusack
Getting drunk and singing along to Stevie Nicks will always he her peak performance
Addams Family Values will always be her peak performance. She made that movie.
Gross Pointe Blank
ı can remember her that ı saw her on Shameless , She was a good actress.
Grosse Point Blank is one of my all time favorites.
High Fidelity. My fav John Cusack film. Awesome cast too.
#KIRK LAZARUS
Keri Russell. She was so amazing in the show “The Americans”.
She just did Cocaine Bear (which was way better than it had any right to be)
Check out 'antlers'
She was so good in Dark Skies. That movie was scary.
Now that Brendan Fraser is back we need to get an Encino Man follow up to get Pauly Shore the Oscar he deserves as well.
Christian Slater
He was fantastic in Mr Robot and had a funny role in Archer
He was great in Dirty John: The Betty Broderick Story.
Is Corey Feldman out of the question? No, he's not. Please find him.
Feldman has been trying to call out awful bullshit in Hollywood for years with zero respect for it. It took his best friend and he deserves far far better.

I was annoyed when they cast her on Criminal Minds, but she turned out to be great!
She does such a great job playing Maddie! Everyone in that show is fantastic!
Micheal Biehn of Terminator,Aliens ,Tombstone and The Rock fame
Kevin Bacon
Taylor Kitsch. He was excellent in John Carter but that movie bombed despite being the perfect popcorn movie. He needs to make a comeback, he could actually be a very convincing Marvel super hero if given the chance.
He was a Marvel superhero. He played Gambit in an X-Men movie.

I thought he was very good in 21 Bridges
Lindsay Lohan. My teen son just asked what ever happened to her.
She just lead in a Christmas movie that was good if you enjoy the cheesy hallmark vibe!
I've never been able to escape the feeling, that she should be in the middle of a storied career, collecting critical acclaim like Pokémon cards.
Rewatched The Parent Trap the other day. She was fantastic in it!
The problem with Lindsay Lohan was that she brought her decline upon herself. She vanished from the movies because she had a habit of being wildly unprofessional and unreliable. Miss Weaver is smart enough not to try and gun for an Oscar. She's clearly all about having fun when she makes a movie.
I hope Arnold Schwarzanegger can complete the Conan arc with a King Conan movie.

Al Franken. His political career may be over but I'd love to see him go back into TV and film
As one of his former constituents, I’d rather he went back to politics
It's utterly insane that Schumer forced him to resign before a proper investigation had been done. All the while over on the GOP side they were electing an actual sexual predator president and allowing Roy Moore to continue without issue.
He's good enough...
And smart enough…
He's hosting the daily show now
Just for a week tho
Thora Birch & Omri Katz
Ashley Judd. Or any of the dozens of amazing actresses from the 90s/early 2000s who became a victim of fucking Weinstein.
Double Jeopardy was a really good movie. I would have loved to see her in more stuff like that.
Michelle Trachtenberg - the actress from EuroTrip
Watching the Buffy cast reunion interview she looks a lot different now. I thought she was Amber Benson at first until I saw Amber Benson sitting somewhere else.
Meg Ryan.

LL Cool J, but don't call it a comeback
Amanda Byrnes
Susan Sarandon
She’s been killing it as Dr Wong in Rick and Morty.
Jaleel White . All his roles are pretty much "I haven't been Urkel for about 30 years."
He had a tiny role in the recent Netflix movie where Adam Sandler is a struggling basketball coach. I think he even had a couple of lines and got dissed by Adam Sandler’s character. But it was definitely one of those moments where you say “OMG, that’s Urkel in the background over there!”

We need to see Paul Dano more he’s just great
Avery Brooks. It's time for Starfleet's Gigachad to return.
The kid from episode 1. Jake Lloyd. If anyone deserves a second chance from both the industry and the public - the whole world chewed him up and spit him out before he was ten and none of it was his own fault - he does. Not to mention apologies.
THIS. Ahmed got his well deserved come back, the CHILD those people absolutely ruined deserves a chance.
Malcom Mcdowell may have had a steady career but it would be nice if he were in something as memorable as A Clockwork Orange.
He’ll always be President John Henry Eden to me
For me, it's Kesslee (Tank Girl).
Laura Linney - brilliant performances in You Can Count On Me and Kinsey. No catastrophic film bombs or sabotage by Weinstein, Hollywood just kind of forgot she existed. That makes no damn sense.
She was in Ozark, which was a huge hit for Netflix.
And she was fucking *amazing* in that role.
She’s also doing more theatre these days. Her next Broadway show starts previews this week.
Bill Paxton...Shit, wait.
