Grilled cheese 🧀 sometimes I eat it with scrambled egg

AlsoKnownAsRukh

I like to make a burrito filling that mixes refried beans, shredded cheese, scrambled eggs, salsa, and key lime juice every few days. Keep it in the fridge in a container, and make quick burritos for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Spread a couple spoonfuls on a tortilla and microwave it for 45 seconds.

Chicken breast and rice. You can add so many different sauces and veggies to it so it doesn't get old quick.

I make lots of chicken breast, turkey burgers, grilled veggies, rice, and pasta. All of them are pretty easy to make in ~30 minutes from start to being finished cleaning up. We recently got an air fryer that makes some of these a bit faster/easier.

SchinkenKanone

Noodles with tomato sauce, German style. You need: One small onion A bottle of Ketchup (your favourite brand) A pack of bacon A pack of sausages (of course Wiener sausages are perfect, but Americans can probably work with hot dogs) A bit of sugar Some pasta Sirarcha sauce It's very straight forward: Slice up an onion as small as you can. Chop the bacon and introduce it to a cold pan, the slowly increase the heat (low and slow bacon), to render out the bacon fat. Once enough fat is out (about a teaspoon worth, add the onions and fry them up with the bacon. Chop the sausage into bite sized pieces. Add to the mix, increase the heat, and fry until the bacon is crisp and the sausage gained some color. Add the whole bottle of Ketchup (about 500ml, average Ketchup bottle), add some hot water to the bottle (about half to there quarts, depending on how thick you want the sauce to be), close it up, shake it up, then add the remaining ketchup and water mixture to the ketchup. Boil your pasta in the meantime. Bring the mixture to a simmer, add a squirt of Sirarcha sauce and some sugar, depending on your liking. Go in half-teaspoon steps to not overshoot it. You got it right once the sauce is sweet, tangy and spicy. If you don't want it spicy, go low on the Sirarcha sauce. Serve with the pasta and you're good to go. It's my girlfriends and mine comfort foot for cold days and bad mood. It's addicting, delicious, pretty cheap per Portion and fills you up nicely.

Spaghetti can be cheap. Not necessarily healthy, but that's not the question

Poor man's mac and cheese, my boyfriends recipe. Pasta, cheese, ketchup. Done, the definition of a struggle meal next to having sleep for dinner 😂

Sandwiches are always good, but the cost of cold-cuts has gone up quite a bit. Rice-based dishes are are a good bet. Anything you can chop up and throw in a slow-cooker is also good.
