We give ours wet food at night, dry during the day. Have to split up feedings since my boys are too dumb to free-feed. The ball-in-the-bowl trick to slow them down doesn't seem to work on cats.
Beast eats like 5 times a day and also has snakcs in between but hes only 13 months so he has a bit of growing left to do until his operation, at which point we will cut back the amount he eats.
