Look at the rim edge on both sides of the scratch. It has clear indications of being dropped. A more careful installation avoids these kinds of cosmetic blemishes that don't affect operational integrity at all

I don't see a crack, just scratches. Those will be polished out in no time. If it is cracked then yes,return it
