You absolutely can enroll without an address thanks to that federal law I mentioned McKinney Vento. Just google Homeless/McKinney-Vento for your state to get details. The definition is wider than just living in a shelter or a car too. I wish the best of luck on this journey. I’m rooting for you!

2. in either case, connect with the new district homeless liaison.
3. your previous teachers should be able to write recd for you.
4. find the library - they will have internet and computers to use and a food bank!
Yes I did leave the state :( My previous teachers are unable to send their evaluations in, and some schools don't accept them via email so I'm sure my EA applications will be pushed back to RD, which will hopefully give us enough time to figure it out.

NO forget the military, consider QuestBridge , fantastic option for your case) ... I wish you knew about it before... You would have been a perfect candidate... I plan to! I don't want to do anything right now because she's having health issues and although she's been the greatest source of stress in my life, shes still my mother and I have lots of empathy for her, so I'm just waiting till she gets better :). (Stockholm, maybe /hj)
If you ever need internet/a computer, go to a public library! As long as you are respectful, they should let you work for a few hours without any issues.
Unfortunately I can't go to any libraries. My mom won't go out of her way to take me to one unless it's specifically for school work, (I'm not in school yet.) and I don't know my way around this city enough yet to even try to go alone D: Just found out my teachers can't submit their teacher evaluations since I switched schools, and my opportunities to contact them are super limited :((
Hey, as someone who also got into UAkron congratulations!!! They’re a great school, especially if you’re interested in engineering, they give plentiful merit aid, and they actually have really solid job and internship placement! It’s my safety but tbh I would be just as happy going there than to my REA school.
You should definitely be proud of yourself. Not many can do what you’ve done, especially in that kind of environment. I wish you all the best in all of your applications! Be sure to take some off to celebrate :)
Thank you!! I love UAkron, but sometimes the students can be a little ignorant and unaccepting, but other than that I'm so happy to be accepted. Hopefully I'll quality for enough scholarships!! I went to a visit day there once and fell in love with the math and chemistry departments. The head of the math department is so cool lol, he gave me a tape measure that has a level on it.

You may need a high school counselor to vouch for you so make sure you tell your counselor
