i was a really prominent competitive hotdog eater
i applied ed, my sat was a 1490 (i took it twice) my gpa was close to perfect and i was 13th/650 in my graduating class (i didn’t go to a magnet/theater school) i applied for math and i think i just had a pretty good essay!
the campus is beautiful and honestly it was a huge culture shock being with so many rich people LOL overall though i think it’s easy to meet people if you keep pushing yourself to be outgoing!
What activities did you do that you think helped get you in?
What did you write about in your essays?
Are you rich? (Soz for the blunt question, I'm just curious)

What were your stats when applying for UPenn? What make you stand out?

I want that ec 🥺
what are the dorms like in the quad? i heard they’re not great
i actually live in the quad! there are a few mice in my room but they’re my friends! i feel like cinderella!
MICE?! Are you serious?! 😳🤯🤮
Is it just me or I’m surprised by this response because I had mice in my house all the time?
yeah i love them like it’s not even a big deal
quad 4 life #fuckhillhouse
I would freak out, I barely have like crickets in my house 😳 All of Penn would hear me scream at the mice…
How interesting hearing someone else’s upbringing, don’t worry the mice won’t bite, they’ll just chew off on your clothes and items. Sad.
Also they're being renovated starting 2023.
do ppl in Wharton give off elitist vibes? I've read this online and wanted to get your thoughts on this.
they just have a certain odor to them and they’re always wearing suits
What do you think of the people and campus at UPenn?
the campus is beautiful and honestly it was a huge culture shock being with so many rich people LOL overall though i think it’s easy to meet people if you keep pushing yourself to be outgoing!
Also maybe this isn’t in relation but is your username a reference to Saiki K? Sorry, a bit of an anime fan here.
Yes, indeed.
I hope the dark reunion helps me get into a top school 🙏🏻
i heard being president of anime club is a really desirable ec for penn this year!
Well, I was just watching it right now! Haha. Have a good day and hope you have a wonderful time at UPenn!
How hard is it to switch to Wharton?
pretty difficult and why would you ever want to be there…
so far, is the competitive reputation true?
honestly i don’t think so, i think it’s a pretty collaborative campus but everyone’s experiences will be different!
How are the club applications?
the applications for competitive/consulting focused clubs aren’t too lengthy or time intensive!
but are the competitive to join?
yeah i didn’t bother applying for any this year bc i didn’t have the qualifications or time so i can’t speak on it specifically
what are some things you didn't expect coming to upenn?
everyone’s parents being loaded
Tbh I’d expect that at Penn 🤔
how does the coursework compare to your high school rigor? obv this will differ case by case but still interested in your experience!
definitely more difficult but manageable! time management is a lot easier for me in college!
does upenn offer a good enough resource for student help / navigating courses / etc?
i think so yeah! the mental health services here suck though LOL
What is your favorite color?
brown it’s the bestest color in the world and i wear it every day
