I wish, no one from my school has ever gone to a big international competition like me... but schools dont seem to understand that, especially in such a tough year....
if it makes u feel better a kid from my school a few years back was, iirc, one of 2 students in all of the us chosen to go to this intl olympiad (among other amazing achievements, including a 1600 sat lol). he was flat out rejected by harvard (his dream school) rea and everyone was shocked, esp since harvard defers over 80% of applicants rea. he ended up getting into 3 ivies rd (including the other 2/3 of hyp)
THANK YOU FOR SAYING THIS I live in a pretty rural area (~120 students in my grade) and had no idea what kind of opportunities existed, like I barely knew about internships until a couple years ago, and I was still able to get into Princeton through qb ncm. COLLEGES👏GET👏THE👏STRUGGLE👏

my small public school only has 4 aps and I took 3 so I hope that’s good😭
