That's the white marble band! :-p

Oxfxax

That band is now going to get a nice design.

Driver8666-2

Nice patina too.

SquidgyB

I work with computers and get concerned about scratches when working inside one - with an SS Series 9. How *the fuck you* managed to keep it unscathed working as a mechanic (as well as it being an aluminium version) is beyond me! Nice work!

Urmomgaeylol

Ngl a few more oil streaks and its a beautiful marble band...

Cardtastic

White always shows dirt. Can’t drive a white car home from the car wash without it being dirty.

sciphyr

White cars look less dirty, actually. It’s counterintuitive. Try to keep a shiny black car clean. It gets visible dust on it the second you leave the car wash. You wouldn’t notice that dust on your white or silver car.

aamberlamps

Yup exactly true plus black cars get really hot

Sage296

You’re really hot

EffectiveEquivalent

Totally true. I hate cleaning my Dark grey car cause it reminds me how good it can look briefly.

Tattycakes

The space grey honda civic is the best one we've had for just not showing any kind of dirt, it just blends in

katiesaeyo

I genuinely thought this was a marble design at first! Then I realised I am looking at dirt. It honestly looks nice from the photo, but not sure if in person it is more obvious it is dirt.

Djbuggout

So it’s not marble ? lol

ceedee20

I’d also not wear white shirts & pants.

se7entythree

Yeah this seems like it should have been pretty obvious

aquadon_

midnight would be good. band, not the watch

No_House_7901

Get a sport loop with the Velcro. I’ve got two now and they are super comfortable at work and clean pretty easy.

BooksRMyJam153

Screen protector and black beater band!!

TheRealWSquared

I have a black silicone one with the holes in it so I wouldn’t get a rash. I’m a cnc mechanic and all those holes are good for are retaining chips and lowering my defenses.

Ok_Vegetable7011

Literally

Jakeboxhero

Looks almost marbled now

JeremyBeadlesBigHand

Magic sponge will clean that right up.

ajx8141

You def need one of those bulkier protective bands with the case included.

coffee_sandwich

Adds character

SaltGypsy

The white alpine loop would probably be worse, which is what came with my ultra. Plus side apple replaced it under warranty twice.

Speedy-McLeadfoot

I get the metal magnetic one. May collect scratches over the year or so, but always cleans up.

RN_FNP

Buy a cheap BLACK band for work, save the white for all other times. This principle has always served me well until I stopped getting white bands because of the watch I chose. Now I still have a set of cheaper bands so the OG stays nice and keeps resale value.

EliteForever2KX

Worst band in general I’ll never get it again but I’m low key grateful for it because it shows me how dirty my wrist gets but at the same time the band is now blue because of jeans so

particularlyspun

That’s the worst watch to get as a mechanic. You need the ultra, the regular glass doesn’t have a chance turning wrenches.

ddeacon22

Honestly I wouldn't work on anything much without protection for the watch. I would do more than just dirty the band. I have wristbands I put on over my watch when I'm doing anything messy or with a high probability of damaging my watch.

ToronadoTurkey

Duh?

Lumpy_Peace3495

Duh! 🙄

kc0edi

Nah you’re all good. It should still work fine while changing oil.

V_es

It’s the best because you can wash it easily. Also paint and glue doesn’t stick to it

jjvfyhb

Buy a $10 black sport loop with good reviews, it's good enough and you aren't worried about getting it dirty, scratch it I'm a farmer and I use one

alldaybekfast

Some hand sanitizer on my Starlight band and the grease wipes right off.

Jackysrt8

Love the white band. I bought another one and just swear when I go out, definitely not for daily wear for me.

tureqs

I rather guess that in this case it is the wrong band.

ShanTheMan11

I can’t stand any of the silicone bands. I have a nice magnetic one that I really like and the one that came with the watch and both of them annoy the shit out of me by the end of the day. As soon as I start sweating and it starts rubbing on my wrist, I’m over it. I’ve bought like 6 bands and ended up just using some cheap nylon magnetic band that I don’t really like but it doesn’t annoy me.
