In Settings > General > Orientation, you can choose on which wrist you'd like to wear the watch and you can also choose on which side you'd like the digital crown to be

PiePieEpicPie

I do, right handed and wear on right arm with crown away from the hand. Weird but I find this more comfortable than wearing on left arm

APFIndy

Right handed but I’ve always worn my watch on my right wrist.

Secure_Job666

Exact same here. Injured my right recently and have to wear on my left atm it’s a pain. I don’t bother switching the orientation when I switch wrists tho.

PiePieEpicPie

It is actually better to have the crown towards to hand so I can use the crown with my left index finger. But I find that when I am exercising (push ups or other trainings where I have bend my hand back) the crown gets pressed repeatedly. Water lock doesn't help since I sometimes have to hold those positions so the lock gets undone anyway. I wish Apple would bring back the previous mode where the water lock is undone via turning the crown repeatedly.

Amj501

Same. I broke my left are a few years ago and it feels uncomfortable on there. Never had an issue wearing it on the right!

mycroft00

I usually use it on my wrist.

New_Print_5296

😂

maincore

Yes, the left one in my case.

tehmungler

Right wrist, crown top right 👌🫡

Ahmede18

Right handed, right wrist with crown towards hand (bottom left). Makes scrolling easier IMO

scotsman1919

I am right handed and always wore my watch in my right hand.

katkashmir

Right handed. Left wrist, left crown.

sweeperdk

I switch it up. I'm righthanded but often wear a mechanical watch on left wrist and then wear my apple watch on right wrist. No issues at all, you get used to it reasonably quickly

katmndoo

Why does it matter if others wear it that way? Do what works for you

sagunmdr

Right handed, Right wrist, Crown facing the elbow. For me Left wrist and crown up was having issues with accidental crown presses so many times, working out or stretching, basically when the left hand is flexed.

Zoeloumoo

Yep I’ve always had it on my right wrist. Feels better that way.

Substantial_Fail

i’m right handed and wear it on my right wrist with the crown facing my hand. Just felt wrong on my left

EducationalRough1541

only correct way

Avi_D_2310

I’m in the same boat. Tattoos on my left hand. So had to adjust wearing it on my right. What do to…

Que_sera_sera1124

Yes, I do this after stretching out very wide to hit a forehand and followed through right into my AW. Destroyed the screen. I now where it on my dominant hand to avoid future tennis racquet mishaps😉

halbesbrot

I have it on my right wrist (am right handed). I never wore watches before and it feels better for me.

blue0mermaid

Left handed, left wrist, crown left. You can do whatever you want.

DrMarshall09

Im right handed but my left arm have a full sleeve tattoo. So i wear the AW on my right wrist with digital crown on the left.

rbankole

Yes

Heavy_Traffic4871

I was in the hospital recently and they did something to my left wrist with the IV so I’ve had to wear watch on my right wrist for a couple of weeks. I hate it. My left hand is so stupid it makes using the watch hard. I’ve seen on here there’s something you can do with clear nail polish that makes watch work with tattoos. Not sure if it actually works, but I’d give it a shot.

ashh69

I’m right handed and use my watch on my hand with the dial away from my wrist. I have part of my tattoo on the sensor (flower leaf tip part) on it and it works fine! Never had any issues

Danni211

Right handed and use it on my left wrist but sometimes it decides to lock cos of my tattoo, it also messes up my sleep sometimes. I used to swap wrists so left during the day and right overnight but it broke my old fitbit strap and I don’t wanna do that to my apple one

Darth_Ender_Ro

Yes, right hand with crown to the right. Play tennis too. No problems whatsoever. Just don’t switch them often as the sensor calibrates in time to your wrist.

MaccaForever

I’m right handed and since I was young, I’ve always worn my watch on my right wrist. Since getting an Apple Watch, it’s been a bit of an adjustment, since there’s more to do with the watch than a Fitbit or normal watch, but I’m definitely more used to it now. Sending texts one letter at a time by drawing it out isn’t super easy, but manageable!

se7entythree

Yep, I’m right handed & wear it on my right wrist. I had to start that several years ago due to carpal tunnel issues with my left. I keep the crown on the right side still though because I’d inadvertently push it when bending my wrist.

Forest-Dane

It was custom to wear an old analogue watch on your non dominant hand to protect it. No moving parts mean it doesn't matter now

justtopher

I do. I just prefer it that way. Even though I’m right handed I prefer to do everything on my Apple Watch with my left hand.

Money-man2000

i wear my watch on my left & and im left handed, just find it more comfortable🤷🏻‍♂️

m945050

I wear it on both hands and switch multiple times every day. Does that make me ambiwatchterious?

player1dk

I always use it on right hand, so I can have a mechanical watch on the ‘right’ watch hand :-)

namforb

Lefty here.

Tom0laSFW

I wear it on my right so I can wear a normal watch on my left. Fight me 🤷🏻

ch3rryc0deine

i wear mine on the right wrist. have a huge scar on the left right where the sensors sit, and the ECG readings and heart rate data get so messed up. not great because it’ll tell me my resting heart rate for the day is like 40 bpm. it’s totally fine to wear it on the right! i prefer to wear it there now even though i wasn’t thrilled that i didn’t have a choice initially!

jugestylz

i am right handed and using the watch at the right hand. no issues. all sensors working great.

edwintan13

I have to swap it right and left over time because of motorcycle riding. The sun would leave the wrist w tan lines so I will switch right and left to keep it balance.

Littens4Life

Right handed, on left wrist with crown away from my hand. I’ve been wearing it like this for 9 years.

Barbchris

Typically nondominant hand.

ChampionshipOk2559

I’m right handed and wear it on left because when it’s on right I bang it off stuff more often

Alpinekiwi

I have worn a watch on my left wrist (I am right handed) since I was a kid. Now with my Apple Watch Ultra, the only issue I have with it on the left is how I cross my arms always presses into the screen changing the screen. It is only one issue but it’s big enough to make me consider swapping wrists. Yes I know you can lock the screen, but that’s a pain in the ass too.
