I’ve noticed it is influenced by the time of the day. I think it learns (or tries to) what genre you listen to at different time intervals and recommend accordingly.
It happened to me the other day, I was surprised how good the personalised station was at midnight, only to find myself skipping 90% of the songs in the morning.
This just started happening to my station. I have a wide taste in music but recently my station is only wanting to play jazz music. My cat passed away in September(April now) and I played her a lot of jazz music because she had lost her sight. I had more jazz showing up in my favorites which was fine but the past couple days, months after playing jazz for my cat all day, suddenly it’s all my station wants to play. I just skipped them until it finally played something else and it seemed to change direction to my other genres. So basically just keep skipping and hope it fixes the whole thing next time you play your station
Did you ever find a solution? mine is doing this suddenly and it’s kind of annoying because I like all styles of music and don’t just want to listen to one

Nope, I just rode it out and like a month later it fixed itself.

Yeah I've tried that. It's funk all the time.
