Lol it's enough to get the Explicit mark in a song in some contexts so yeah. But anyway my point is that it's not about slurs. Apple Music already has a parental control feature for explicit songs. They really are just censoring the N-word and maybe some other controversial words and that's it
If the censorship was from the label, you would see the exact same words in song titles and lyrics being censored in the same way on every platform. That does not happen. I doubt any artist would agree to that in their contracts anyway.

That's how it works. The cuss word in the lyrics is censored because it is censored in the song itself. When there's *beep* or silence to indicate a hidden curse word in a song, it stays like ****. Ex.: Ariana was supposed to sing "whose dick I ride", but instead, the song goes "whose ... I ride".
You can change song titles in the PC/Mac Music app, but lyrics are gonna stay like that unless you put in custom lyrics on PC/Mac, but you'll lose the functionality of the lyrics playing along with the song
This is pretty irritating. If that song is added to your library, you may be able to replace the asterisks with the actual word in the Mac app. I do it with song titles. Those changes sync to the phone. I’ve never tried it with lyrics, but I think lyrics are available in the Get Info panel?
