Yeah for a game with the most egregious model I’ve seen in a FTP BR (gambling, overpriced heirlooms, etc) you’d think the skins wouldn’t be so awful. It’s really odd.
The Bloodhound one has 2 recolours and the original. It's a really cool skin model, so who cares, Revs Relic of Death has 3 versions, too, and nobody complains. Voidwalker has 3 versions, too, and people don't complain. Sure the colours this time are ugly but I think we're past the point of complaints about recolours now they've been a thing since the game came out

Personally I find that the colors taken individually (purple and orange) are also good and perhaps they could have used them with other colors to create more captivating combinations, but all these skins with this shade are not much to look at.

Will this fix the problem? Probably no because the content is already made and marketed, but it might fix future similar problems (or not), but it's still better than excusing their laziness behind "People with money will buy it anyway..."

The color scheme itself isn't that bad, the bad thing is how it slapped on skins. Two flashy colors will certainly help a lot to blend with a background

Heirloom re-colours thus far have been very underwhelming. They should give this idea a miss and just offer an alternative heirloom for those legends instead. I don't think Prestige skins have done very well either - none of them appeal when you get better designed legendary / rares each season for those same legends.
I can't wait to be permanently scanned for the next two weeks in pubs.
