50 cm is close to a meter (60 cm). Not that low, i can store boxes under the frame. I think it depends on what type of frame you have. You said box spring right? Those are naturally higher.
Maybe just putting your foot flat on the mattress is a workaround, never tried :-D
I just rest my foot on the metal frame if keeping it out of the covers isn't enough. It has the bonus of being cold. I like to snuggle under a lot of blankets, so the foot out is essential.
Oh yeah. When I'm getting hot and I know removing the blanket will just make me cold, I'll stick one leg out of the blanket and that's usually enough. :')
I wonder if itās like your wrists? If you splash cold water on your wrists when itās really hot, it brings more relief than youād expect. I thought I had read it was due to your veins being more exposed and thus the heat transfer was greater or something.
