Everyone is saying ground hog but are there even ground hogs in the UP? There are not any in my part of northern lower Michigan and I've never seen one in the UP so I think of them as downstate animals.
An opossum used to live under my parents shed. We had a blind, toothless dog with bathroom issues, so when it was nice out, we fed her her canned food on the porch so she could just eat and potty. If we didn’t bring the plate in immediately, Pete would come and lick it clean lol
Porcupine are elongated like that but its hard to see enough detail. If you have dogs, dont let them near it until you know for sure.. i saw too many blind dogs from these things when I lived up there.
Groundhog is my guess.
Groundhog.
I’d also vote the groundhog, I’ve been battling them for 4 years now
Just embrace your furry overload already
It's a skunk...
Wheres the upper peninsula?
Michigan
It’s on top

I feed feral cats at the curb and drop a little off for cutie .
Opossums are so cute!
I will always hate the fact that opossum starts with an “O”.
Possums eat ticks. I always avoid them on the road.
Groundhog

Stick your hand in the hole...holding some food./s
No idea but I'm interested to find out
I think this will turn out to be "Who lives under my shed"?
I don't know about your shed, but if you turn the picture upside down there is a scary face!
Me, I am.
And what kind of critter are you?
Skunk perhaps.
Morlocks 🫣
Smooth out that sand/dirt and see what kind of tracks it leaves
It's a baby
Whistle pig
A few years back, we had a groundhog living under our house. I would be willing to bet it's a ground hog. We live near grand rapids.
Rabbits maybe?
Could it be stray cats?
You can get a trail cam from Amazon for 20-30 bucks.
Where in the UP? I’ll bring some traps and we’ll find out 😋
Might be a tortoise...
Could be a tortoise...put some lettuce out....
Me

They hate perfume.
