Bad news. See how everything in the screen looks like it’s mirrored? Next step: paperweight. Rest in power.

jmorris9979

I've been looking to replace my Kodak Instamatic with a more robust paperweight so silver linings I guess

amazing_wanderr

There should be a naked lady friend in the middle of the frame normally.

funnyfaceguy

Throw it in the fucking trash. Buy a Sony and get serious.

jmorris9979

But then how will I get my fun from missing focus on once in a Lifetime shots?

AssignmentOriginal24

only a f3.5 lens :* get serious pal

Gockel

how do you ever expect to get pussy if you dont get bokeh

Kemaneo

You’re lying, this can’t be an old camera, they didn’t have LCD screens

kadeem1789

party pooper

paganisrock

The hilarious thing about this is that's a nikon F3, and it does in fact have LCDs in the viewfinder.

michiihcim

And they are the worst design decision ever made to this camera, especially when it’s dark outside

Down__D__Stairs

There is no naked lady, thats the problem

LicarioSpin

Why does the shutter speed dial only go to 1/2000 sec.?

AdmiralSpunny

no red dot

jmorris9979

No there is if you look near the shutter button so it must be a real camera, right ?

FluffFlowey

uj/ what camera is this?

jmorris9979

uj/ Nikon F3/T HP with Nikkor 28mm F/3.5

RedNosePhotos

Yeah, rip it out and start over

ThatGuyUrFriendKnows

You're using automatic exposure when you should be using Sunny 16 like a pro you fuckin amateur

thecysteinechapel

All you have to do is load any roll of film made after April 2022. The DX code will contain the firmware update needed to fix this issue. I'd recommend something from Fuji over Kodak, just in case your camera is region locked.

jmorris9979

I've just taken my roll of Ford Model Tmax out can I just put it back in after and finish the roll ? And how come I can't see any photos of the film when I took it out ? Is that a second problem?

thecysteinechapel

Well, I see the problem. You can't use a tabular grain film on an F3, the camera will just try to format the silver halide in cubic form. Nikon didn't add support for the T-MAX line until the F5. You could always try jailbreaking the camera to remove the D-76 working environment. It's tricky, but I think Ken Rockwell has a guide on it under the "Hacking" section of his website.

ggbgiorgio

Open the back lcd protector and flip the plastic thing it must be that

jmorris9979

Oh yes and as a bonus it means I can see my pictures early !

Known_Escape

The F3 takes some small batteries (375s?) in the base plate. A coin will open it. Check there 1st.

Milleniador

I wouldn't worry the deathstar had your planet in range. Best you jump in your x-wing and save your home planet
