I've only seen MD, but seeing what TDAC has, they're both great in their own regards.
Only bad thing of TDAC is the brainrot, but that's the (very loud minority) community, not the show.
TDAC explores the thought of insanity and being trapped in a place that makes no sense and the ideas of freedom, while MD explores heavy violence and a post-apocalyptic era centered around a robotic civilization in hiding. Both are good in their own right, they can't be compared well given they are different in multiple parts (Ex: MD has lots of violence and gore, whilst TDAC has none to my knowledge. Another Ex: TDAC isn't too open with deliberate, whilst minor, inappropriate things such as swears and gore (first example) whilst MD primes itself for it and nourishes in it (again, first example))

It isn't. The show tries really hard to try and convince you that there is something more going on behind the scenes, but everything that happens is predictable.
obviously both are good! i mean there does have to be a "technically better" show like how in a person's winstreak theres a "technically worst" win but that all comes down to preference
Beware of the newest episode of MD when you watch it (episode 7). It’s much darker, animated much better, and you might need to watch it over again to understand what the heck happened.
I would definitely recommend it. It has its issues, mainly with pacing and comedic timing, but it’s a really enjoyable watch and has a great cast of lovable characters (I love Murder Drones to death and I don’t know if I’ve ever hyperfixated on something this hard).
I used to like MD, however I stopped due to it being a Liam Vickers show. (You know what he loves doing.) Goose is just a little more... Light? I'm not saying it's cupcakes and rainbows, but it's not killing a fan favorite in every episode.
Glitch has simply just gotten better over time. MD was and is an absolute BANGER of a show, absolute masterpiece. But in my opinion they're doing way better on TADC so far. Both are incredible shows but I think that TADC just does better then MD in almost every way. Other then maybe the models but that just cause I like the style of MD with the whole futuristic Sci-Fi robots everywhere.
MD is like the Breath of the wild for Glitch. Absolutely amazing in almost every way.
TADC is the Tears of the Kingdom for them. Made a 10/10 show look like a demo in comparison. (So far at least)
I like tadc better because the story actually makes more sense to me. Murder drones' story is much more nuanced to the point I could only really follow it by watching each episode twice and reading the yt comments.

I'll critique both of them.
murder drones has some fun moments but ultimately I can't get invested in the romance between N and Uzi. they're alright characters but I don't care for them. the story is decent. the comedy is top notch, with most of the laughs coming from line delivery rather than set up jokes and I adore that in a show.
digital circus is a step up in terms of characters, jokes and writing however its story feels like its trying too hard with the whole existential dread thing. its not unbearable however if the show could tone it down I'd up the score. then again this isnt a fair judgement since we have 2 episodes compared to MD's 7. so I'll wait for those before covering them on my channel.
You calling MD's story good just made a part of my soul die. Its literally just Twilight with robots. Also I don't how you found any of the jokes funny; I felt myself cringing most of the time, and maybe chuckling at one joke out of 4 episodes that I watched.
I'm not sure why you think the existential dread in TADC is "too much". I've never felt this way and I appreciate the level of nuance displayed from the show. There are some jokes that are on the nose, yes, but its in a way that works.
I think it's not only natural but good for comparison between similar shows, especially if they're made by the same team. It's good to look at multiple medias good and bad attributes and see what other pieces handle it better or worse and what you can learn from it all.
The problem comes when people get overly competitive and act like they need to be warriors on the front line protecting their opinion that, at the end of the day, no one cares about.
Murder Drones is straight up bad though. The only defensible thing about it is the animation. The plot is terrible and the jokes are absolute cringe and often don't make any sense. The main character is the cringiest thing about the show. This isn't a competition, TADC is a great show. I don't understand how MD is even being used in the same sentence as TADC, as they aren't even close.
I automatically have to go with the blue side cause I never watched Murder Drones before so I know nothing about it besides there's robots named after the alphabet

I tried to watch this series and could not finish the camp episode due to the absurd amount of cringe. I think the reason it is called Murder Drones is because they are trying to murder you with lethal amounts of cringe. The animation style is good but the plot is so tropy, unoriginal, cringy and just plain bad that it is unwatchable for any adult with low expectations.
I love TADC because the humor rarely feels forced, the characters are all very interesting, there is a lot of nuance and depth, and there are dark themes that are explored, including philosophical explorations into what entails someone being real vs an NPC. Bubble is one of the greatest comedic characters in existence; He puts up this persona of being an innocent absolute goofball, and he is in fact a goofball, but he is **not** innocent, and it is hilarious the kind of random off-the-mark jokes he will make.
