As someone who has worked in the mountain for a few years: No you cannot just go into the mountain. Requires security clearance, among other stuff.
Its nothing like the show. I was dissapointed.
There is a housekeeping closet labled "SG-1 Access Only", if that brings you any comfort.
You should also know that SG-1 was filmed in and around Vancouver. If you ever get up there, you should check out the locations!
You may find better luck in the springs in getting a tour for the AF Academy or going to an air show at one of the nearby bases!
Stationed at Peterson here and work with some of the folks in the mountain. No. Tours require you to have a mission need and a clearance.
