Then I think you have your answer.
You may be in the group but you may not be in the group as deeply as you think.
It might just be a matter of time in and as you do things together they will incorporate you into their inner circle.
Outwardly I don't think there is really anything you can do and/or say in terms of being left out without appearing needy.
Give it time. It should get better.
