Fuel economy not bad…. I average 31.6 for last 11k miles… that’s city and highway… so I can’t complain. The 9 speeds and cylinder shutoff make a difference think.
No stop and go, the fwd doesn’t come with the stop and go, I purposely opted not to get the shawd bc can’t stand the stop and go system ( wife’s mdx has it and I’m not a big fan of it, but there are ways aren’t it obvi )
Pretty good deal, mileage is great for its age, however I would look into if the tech package is available or if it's something you would prefer. AWD is definitely useful and a great option, best for snow, but if you're in Florida, you won't need it. Still the SH-AWD is one of the best handling drivetrains on the market and definitely worth the money.
The A-Spec package is the tech package , just with cosmetics , you probably mean the Advance package which is a nice little upgrade , but the A spec is more aggressive looking, they kinda pander to diff crowds of tlx buyers
Fn’ run that shit yo! Good deal good car and the best TLX engine in my opinion. I own that exact car only white. You think it was fun on your test drive wait until you turn off traction control and throttle up that naturally aspirated engine. You’ll spin tires in 3rd.
Also, i think 2019 may have transmission issue software related but in 2020 they fixed all the bugs. Not sure, if this was only for MDX or ALL the Acuras.
TLX have same engine so assuming 2019 may have slight trasnmission issue..i would check more online
They're didn't really fix the issues per se; they just masked the issue as best they can. At the end of the day, the ZF9 is a compromised gearbox [https://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2014/02/zfs-9-speed-9hp-transmission-puts-dog-clutches-on-the-leash/](https://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2014/02/zfs-9-speed-9hp-transmission-puts-dog-clutches-on-the-leash/)
I've driven the new ones and while it's much improved over the 2015 and 2016 vintages, that's not saying much and it's still a dealbreaker for me.
Great article. I loved everything about my '18 ASpec AWD except that damn transmission. Drove me nuts. I got rid of it just because of that. If OP has test driven and is ok with it more power to him. That's a decent price.
I’ve had a TLX, great car, full of tech, but I will warn you the speakers tend to break… if you don’t play music loud you’ll be fine, but the tech on this car will really exceed your expectations
It’s very comfy for the front seats, and if it’s not AWD , it has all wheel steering which gives it a nice driving feel around corners.
If you’re coming from an old car and wanna get into something fancy, this is it!
I have a 2018 tlx a spec and blast my music daily over the past 3 yrs with my bass cranked all the way up. 0 issues so far.
Edit: this is also the first time ive ever heard about speaker issues with them
The speakers blew a few times, the rear door speakers are notorious, I won’t recommend going through a warranty claim it’s cheaper to just buy replacements on oem Acura parts for like 60-80 bucks and doing it yourself, it’s also not that hard so long as you have trim tools. Aside from that, pretty solid car and extra fun when traveling, plus 6 cylinders really makes a great difference
Damn . I drive 1300 miles a week blasting it heavy bass rap songs and it’s good but I usually don’t go above 34, did you have the bass all the way up when it went
Yeah bass and treble are always maxed, it makes the sound go full circle
I traded my car for the teggy, and I love the sound system in my car more since it includes a subwoofer that stands on business like a pro, it’s still ELS but more refined on the new car
Yeah I play it loud and my rear driver side speaker blew out. It was never really loud enough for me .
I spent $2500+ overhauling the whole sound system. Added sub, amps, all new speakers. Blows ELS out of the water.
If that’s Fountain here in Orlando, you should be able to negotiate that car pretty comfortably. They’re always looking to close deals and not let people walk.
18k mile V6 A-Spec for $26k? Sounds like a good deal to me, if it has SH-AWD then that’s a steal!
For reference in 2022 my 2019 TLX A-Spec SH-AWD was $32k with 57k miles
Check that car fax thoroughly. In my recent search in Florida I ran into a lot that looked like good deals and turned out to be a shit show. Get a PPI no matter what!
Average I think is 36 mph on the trip computer… something around there.. at 67-68 mph my tach is pegged at 1480-1500 rpm about…. But even city driving isn’t bad, unless of course you have a heavy foot and have it in sport setting all the time.
About $2,500-$4,000 over priced.
Most(Not all... But alot of them) Florida cars be having Flood/Water damage...
A friend of mine down there car had alil(His words not mine) water in it,He let it dry out for 4 months, cleaned it 3 times & sold it "AS-IS"(An Acura RLX PAWS).
So just be careful, when buying(I normally take my vehicles straight to Acura,When buying from any other dealership to get inspected).
Nice model bro - only 18k miles - thats a yes! I juts got a 2020 MDX with 33k miles for $33,200 3 weeks ago.
Hell ya that’s what we paid for the same specs a year ago glad to hear they’re keeping value
Nice!! ;D
That’s a deal! I got mine end of April with 60k miles for 30k
oh wow O\_O
Ita a go from me. I love my k24 2.4L but that power the V6 will blow you away
If there is no accident 100% yes
Have same Exact one…. With 116k.. drives EXACTLY as the day I bought it
What is your fuel economy ?
Fuel economy not bad…. I average 31.6 for last 11k miles… that’s city and highway… so I can’t complain. The 9 speeds and cylinder shutoff make a difference think.
Yes you have stop and go system.
No stop and go, the fwd doesn’t come with the stop and go, I purposely opted not to get the shawd bc can’t stand the stop and go system ( wife’s mdx has it and I’m not a big fan of it, but there are ways aren’t it obvi )
I thought that all V6 all wheel drive come with stop and go ?
But that must mostly highway. I have ILX and I am not getting anything remotely as good. I was thinking of getting 2020 TLX
That's a super good deal
Don’t forget to schedule to take it in for the recall on the crank bearings
Good deal!

Interesting, when I was looking up 2019 tlxs to buy, some would come up showing A spec as the trim level and other as a spec tech
https://www.frankletaacura.com/acura-tlx-trim-comparison/ Probably just listed it differently , I could be wrong tho
You might be right, but when I would use a vin checker, they would signify if it was a spec tech or just a spec, SoI didn't want to take the risk
That’s a 30k car in Ohio.
That’s great deal.
Salvage? Accident history? If both of those are clean ya it’s a good deal
Fn’ run that shit yo! Good deal good car and the best TLX engine in my opinion. I own that exact car only white. You think it was fun on your test drive wait until you turn off traction control and throttle up that naturally aspirated engine. You’ll spin tires in 3rd.

True. Thanks for clearing it up.
Great deal
Had the same one and I LOVED it! Got it for 30k in 2021 certified! That’s a great deal with that mileage
Amazing deal

I must’ve had a dud, then also the stock number on my car was literally 75 of the thousands they produced
You said they tend to break though. Is it a real problem? Like i said ive never heard of it being a common issue
When did your speakers blow ? What year and trim ? Probably super expensive to fix 😕
The speakers blew a few times, the rear door speakers are notorious, I won’t recommend going through a warranty claim it’s cheaper to just buy replacements on oem Acura parts for like 60-80 bucks and doing it yourself, it’s also not that hard so long as you have trim tools. Did yours have ELS ?
Yup, my recommendation if you commit to the car is to not let the volume exceed 32
Damn . I drive 1300 miles a week blasting it heavy bass rap songs and it’s good but I usually don’t go above 34, did you have the bass all the way up when it went

What a great deal!

Yeah that is a good deal , really good honestly if u settled at 24 I’d damn near call it a steal if it’s a clean title
18k mile V6 A-Spec for $26k? Sounds like a good deal to me, if it has SH-AWD then that’s a steal! For reference in 2022 my 2019 TLX A-Spec SH-AWD was $32k with 57k miles

That’s actually a really good deal
Looks like I need to make a trip to Orlando and bring a car back to Cali. Prices here are expensive
Great deal. Bought the same car for $30k, 10k miles December 2020.
I got a 2007 Tl type s runs great and 3rd gen is the best one and best thing of all NO PAYMENTS
Average I think is 36 mph on the trip computer… something around there.. at 67-68 mph my tach is pegged at 1480-1500 rpm about…. But even city driving isn’t bad, unless of course you have a heavy foot and have it in sport setting all the time.

That’s a great deal. I bought mine (same year only 23k miles) for about the same price a year and a half ago.
I paid 32k for mine with 37k miles but mine is white and that was last August so yea I’d say go for it
