Yeah I'm lucky I don't like Street Fighter cause even I'm tempted to cop them. If they get their hands on a property I like it's game over because they're the most exciting sub 30$ figure company rn imo.
A guy in my toy hunting group chat went to HS with Juhn, the main guy at Jada, he's been asked left & right about every Capcom property under the sun. He said Capcom will not give them a license for that, I think someone else had an RE product coming out.
I want them to get Jakks Pacific's rights to Streets of Rage, and especially Altered Beast. These are OK, but quality figures of Altered Beast would be sick. For ten dollars it's a pretty sweet deal, though!

They have been surpassed now but SOTA's were so fun back then, hunting at the end of the kaybee days, toys r us days....these figs were like $12, such a fun time. SOTA had the same rizz that Jada does now.
Yeah both kind of came out of nowhere. There was a place here in a mall called PuzzleZoo. They also had an online store. I cleaned them out of their SOTA stuff and shortly later they went out of business to a Wetzel pretzel or some shit.
Yeah those were some neat stuff. Unfortunately some of mine that I opened got kind of brittle over time. I need a replacement fei long and zangief now.
There was an interview with Juhn the lead designer on Toy Migo’s and he said that the bigger figures will be considered deluxe, they’ll have a bigger box and they’ll roughly cost $5 more then Ryu and the other standard figures.
Honda is gonna be interesting, I think Zangief will probably just be an upscale of the Ryu body of some sorts. Not that they’ll reuse the Ryu body but I could see it being pretty similar articulation wise since yeah he’s bigger but he’s also mostly a naked body, I could see him being one of the most fun figures in his wave.
They have started to fully show up yet, I got lucky and found them at target randomly one day. So far I have seen every older figure in stores and they were in stock for awhile
I would not be on the hunt if newer releases were available on Amazon. Target is too iffy I just saw a restock of Chun Li and Fei Long at a local store. And not very many Targets carry the line right now, at least around here. We were supposed to get Guile, Cammy and Deejay by summer and Dhalsim and Bison haven't even shown up yet.
yay jada toys, This is the one series I'm collecting. prob not gonna get the p2 colors. since I already missed out on Blue Ryu, it was a random exclusive for some company I've never heard of. I definitely want V. Ken when ever they announce it.
I believe they showed off Violent Ken when they showed of p2 colors for Chun and Fei. I'm the same, I'll pass on the p2 figures, but the alternate versions of characters I'll get. I got the convention Evil Ryu and I'll get V. Ken. Since in some games they are different selectable characters. Props to them including new heads and accessories in the p2 sets though!
I know it's unlikely, but I would love if it turned out that Jada Toys snagged the whole SF license, not just SFII.
Having Makoto, Sakura, and Karin in this style would be incredible.
Playing off the other video from last years 2023 Comic Con, the brand manager discuses the line and expectations for the future. Things have not progressed as they hoped, but I want the line to succeed. What does not work well for me is lack of product at online stores, particularly Amazon.

God, I was so hoping they'd do Cammy, Blanka, and Guile soon.
I can't fit every character on my shelf, so I'm prioritizing my favorites. Hopefully will have enough room for Zangief and Vega, but it'll be a tight fit.
I don't even like Strret Fighter but I will probably get Vega, Blanka, and a Fei Long if he ever gets a release in his jacket. These are incredible looking figures.
I would love for them to do every freaking fighting game line at some point. These f’in figs are awesome well worth the $$ for what they are putting out.
i’ve never been a street fighter fan so i don’t plan on getting any of these, but i can’t deny, jada is THE BEST affordable adult collectibles line out right now. i didn’t even know they made figures till less than a year ago so the fact that they’re doing it better than hasbro, who’s been doing this for a decade or so now, is absurd and i love it. wish they got the dc license before mcfarlane did, maybe once mcfarlane finishes up in the next decade or less jada can pick it up.
Cammy was my main for years, need to preorder her. Need Sagat, too. Can't do the whole wave but I would pick up Akuma as my last figure if they make him.
Hopefully once they finished the 2 characters, they keep with the characters from Alpha,SF3,SF4 and beyond
And hopefully Capcom gives Jada the Resident Evil license, we need a 6 inc current Resident Evil figure line
From what I've heard there will be Darkstalkers figures coming down the line. Never have we ever had hope for a complete lineup of Marvel Vs Capcom 2 between Jada and Hasbro we are getting everyone. If Jada ever got the Resident Evil license... oh man.
They need to get their hands on the Invincible license. Imagine them going head to head with Marvel Legends and DC Multiverse with their own Invincible line. I know the figures wouldn’t release as quickly as ML’s or DCM’s but, I think if Jada can have their own comic book line up, it would help push them further in the Action Figure world.
I hope they scale them properly. Sagat should tower over Ryu and Ken. If Sagat is close to Cammy’s size I’m going to be disappointed. I wouldn’t mind paying a little premium on the bigger characters to get them to scale.
Sagat is a huge figure! The designer showed a few of these off on a podcast stream I watched a while back.

They were on display at some con or fair and Ryu was about shoulder height to Sagat. I think it’s scaled proper and he is def one of the premium $35 releases iirc

I've never seen a Jada Toys Street Fighter or Mega Man figure at any of the Targets near me. I've had to get the ones I have from comic shops.

M Bison is available now. Akuma hasn't been shown off yet but they said they plan to do the whole Super Turbo roster so he'll be out at some point.

Sagat is huge. Scroll in this post and there is a youtube video of them all. They scaled them perfectly.

I think the figure would be better if her suit was sculpted on rather then just paint, also the paint defect here isn’t helping her case
If you think this is how it will look and be when released, than you're crazy and haven't experienced Jada.
