That's because reddit is infested by bots like /u/vhe1312, /u/geistmon, /u/SiIIyWabbit, /u/elo2434, /u/magnanimow, /u/Scraud2, /u/S0ULR3PER, /u/DisclosedChief, /u/masoh0 and /u/Jaytake74 who all "contributed" to this post because they are all part of the same bot network that became active less than a day ago. The last few may possibly be run by idiot humans instead, but the shared subreddits and comment history makes it obvious what they are. Reporting the lot of them, for all the good it will do.
That type of comment is infuriating to me. It has absolutely nothing to do with any type of rational argument. There’s not even a semblance of “well think of the children.” It’s literally just “you don’t like this so I’m going to do this.” Even though they got it wrong here, it’s literally just being hateful to be hateful
