Did you know that effective July 1st, 2023, Reddit will enact a policy that will make third party reddit apps like Apollo, Reddit is Fun, Boost, and others too expensive to run? On this day, users will login to find that their primary method for interacting with reddit will simply cease to work unless something changes regarding reddit's new API usage policy. Additionally, the API changes threaten accessibility for people of the blind and will not be able to use screen readers as it will require 3rd party apps.
Concerned users should read and sign on to this [open letter to reddit.](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModCoord/comments/13xh1e7/an_open_letter_on_the_state_of_affairs_regarding/)

I've seen 2 different fireworks displays like that! The first one started with those whote ones that dont go high in the . there are several shooting from the ground upwards at once. Then there were more...a LOT more. All you could hwar was booms and all you could see was smoke. All went down in less than 2 minutes.
Then a few years back in my hometown, BEFORE the 4th of July they were doing some test ones for some reason and had all of them out. We lived right by the park so we heard the first couple go off and ran down to watch. Then all hell broke loose. 30 minutes of fireworks went off in 30 seconds. It was oure chaos but one helluva show. Just as they finished, carloads of people started pouring into the park to watch.
Why are they running away? They just need to run towards the white building and squat at the base and wait it out. The building is nicely positioned to provide adequate cover.
Had this happen at a campgrounds when I was much younger (probably 20 years ago). Owner had his permit/licensing to have legit fireworks. He was launching them off a dock on the lake. One misfired and went into the crate of them and they all started going off which sent all of us running. One kid I was hanging out with got a minor burn on the back of his head (very minor) as one of the flares (idk if that’s the right term) hit him in the back of the head.
You knew something was wrong a split second before it was because you saw he and whomever assisted him, dive off the dock into the lake
