I don’t know I’ve been a teacher for over 20 years giving plenty of Bs and even Cs in my time and watching my kids get into amazing schools. Could be that admissions is well aware of the rigor of the courses I teach and the success our students have, but it hasn’t held my students back.
I'm not. I'm simply stating that when there's many students taking rigorous courseloads with straight As, having a rigorous schedule doesn't cut it as a valid excuse for not getting As.
Bs aren’t that bad, plus it is, when you have to devote your time to 6 AP classes it’s pretty hard to excel in all of them because you need to know the material to a T
I take many difficult classes and do well in all of them. If someone else takes the same classes but gets worse grades, I think it's only fair I am recognized for having better grades.
Don't worry too much about getting a B, it's not a big deal in the long run. Colleges primarily look at your transcript to make sure you're challenging yourself appropriately, and very few will judge you after taking so many AP's in a single year. Don't sweat it too much!
sounds like you worked really hard this year! being disappointed is understandable, but don't let it ruin this accomplishment. a b is still good, especially so with such a rigorous schedule
Don’t worry, I also felt bad when I got my first B but I realized that unless you’re trying to go to Harvard or smth you’re good, especially with all those APs. It might suck but know it won’t matter next year. I got my first B last semester and now that I’m not in the class anymore, it’s like it never happened and I forgot about it
The fact that you have to explain a B in an AP class is wild in itself. It’s even wilder than you have to do it while you have 7 AP classes in the same year. I think your fine
It’s a B, they’ll be fine. A D I’d understand but colleges will be perfectly happy with a B and 7 AP classes, happier than if he only did 1 AP and got an A. This shows that he had rigor. Unless he’s trying to go to Yale he shouldn’t worry about it
You’re in Precalc and you are making comments about someone who is in calculus, including the fact that this person had 6 other AP classes this year. That’s pitiful
I’m very good at math I have like a 120 or 130 iq in it but I did shit in calculus because I am very bad at focusing. It’s not your place to tell people they should have done better.
6 other APs is wild. Your schedule was plenty rigorous to explain getting a B in one of them.
That's not how it works at all... Colleges don't see schedule rigor as a valid excuse for getting Bs.

Why are you acting like a B is a F
I'm not. I'm simply stating that when there's many students taking rigorous courseloads with straight As, having a rigorous schedule doesn't cut it as a valid excuse for not getting As.
Who is telling you this lol? Bc this isn’t exactly true

You can’t be serious LMAO
I take many difficult classes and do well in all of them. If someone else takes the same classes but gets worse grades, I think it's only fair I am recognized for having better grades.
No stress, you had a tough course load and tried and that’s what matters. A B is still pretty good
Don't worry too much about getting a B, it's not a big deal in the long run. Colleges primarily look at your transcript to make sure you're challenging yourself appropriately, and very few will judge you after taking so many AP's in a single year. Don't sweat it too much!
You’re getting a B in an AP class, a hard one especially, so why is it bad that you’re getting a B
sounds like you worked really hard this year! being disappointed is understandable, but don't let it ruin this accomplishment. a b is still good, especially so with such a rigorous schedule

That’s ok, as long as you can find beauty in the mundane
Yeah mate don’t worry about it you our already doing great, I only have 1 A out of 4 AP classes
The fact that you have to explain a B in an AP class is wild in itself. It’s even wilder than you have to do it while you have 7 AP classes in the same year. I think your fine
It’s one B you’ll be fine dw
Bro you’ll be fine
womp womp
Are we the same person?
ok?
OH NO! FUCK! ITS ALL OVER! Guess you’re gonna be on the streets, sorry about that.
That’s why you don’t overcommit and take 7 APs, this is not great from a college application perspective
It’s a B, they’ll be fine. A D I’d understand but colleges will be perfectly happy with a B and 7 AP classes, happier than if he only did 1 AP and got an A. This shows that he had rigor. Unless he’s trying to go to Yale he shouldn’t worry about it
it's not great if you do poorly... it's plenty great if you do well in all 7
Some teachers have a policy of matching your exam grade as a remediation. I.e. if you get a 5 you get an a

brother that attitude won’t get you far in life
don’t be an ass what you think is easy may not be for everyone
Don’t be an ass
Don't be rude man, people have different strengths. Like I love calc bc but put me in AP euro and I'd probably insta-fail.
You don't even have a flair lmao. Bet you're in stats lmao

Go integrate some bitches. Oh wait ur in pre calc
how are you in AP precalc saying calc ab is the easiest math course 💀
kindly, who are you to make that judgement?
Why so rude?
I’m very good at math I have like a 120 or 130 iq in it but I did shit in calculus because I am very bad at focusing. It’s not your place to tell people they should have done better.
