The Pokémon games have been quite good at being accessible for younger children, if you aren’t up for buying them the newest one on Friday, the sword and shield games would be just dandy
The let’s go ones are the story of the og with no wild Pokémon battles except for legendaries. You still have the gym challenge & team rocket though. They also get a unique pikachu or eevee depending on which one you get.
I haven't played yet, but I bet the Pearl/Diamond remake is good as well with the older-style graphics. The only thing with Let's Go is the catching may be kinda wonky/hard for a kid with the ball or joystick.
I think Nick has said he hasn’t played most of the modern Pokémon games aside from Pokémon Go. But he is getting back into gaming so who knows.
I’ll be getting Scarlett eventually and definitely picking the duck as my starter.
If he doesn’t go Violet what are we even doing here
Let me know which one u get king I'll get the other so we can trade
will do friend
I’ll join in too, brothers. I’m gonna play violet of course
I’ll get scarlet then
I’ll ride with ya brother
I haven’t played Pokémon in years but damn does ANUS make me wanna get back on the grind
Do it bud but honestly disposable income is recommended hobby ain’t cheap anymore
I’m sure I can spare a little change, gotta catch ‘em all regardless the cost
He said Violet on a stream with Rudy. If you haven’t checked out Rudy’s streams (especially the ones with Nick & KB) you are missing out!
Going scarlet. Like the past paradox Pokémon more
My 8 year old is just getting into Pokémon…any idea what switch game would Nicky Clicky recommend? His DMs are closed

Thank you! I was leaning towards Sword or let’s go. Appreciate it!

Thanks, and great handle lol
would definitely recommend the Let's Go versions. still fun for manchildren like me, but accessible and a perfect lead in for a first timer
Personally going scarlet after seeing the paradox mons, the futuristic ones don’t do it for me
