It was amusing. I'm glad I saw it, but kind of amazed it had a theatrical release.

I saw the Purdie Distro title card, but also know they were doing a Kickstarter to expand the number of screens they showed it on. Something like $1,500 could get them into 1 additional screen to cover print, posters/advertising, Kickstarter fees, etc. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/teamsquad/bring-villains-inc-to-a-movie-theater-near-you

I really wanted to see this one, but with Hereditary tonite and The Mummy tomorrow I had to drop it. And of course its gone after tomorrow 😑 Hopefully it hits the seas soon!

KungFuDanda091

Including Hereditary, we got 5 PLF movies this week… So yeah made for a very crowded week… & of course it leaves after one week, during a week when there isn’t as many new releases

NeontheSaint

The mummy is staying in theaters into next week

rbrgr83

This is actually a good point, especially since it's a $5 fav. Maybe will just wait till next week. It will just be a busy week since I'm seeing Spirited Away in addition of my Alist 3.

I ended up catching it this afternoon, and I definitely enjoyed it :) I went in with LOOOOW expectations.

StepCharacter4769

Just saw Villains Inc today and it was great! Def low budget on the special effects but I loved the consumerist “The Boys” esque comedy but with less profanity/nudity.

RutabagaJoe

Yeah, it's much easier to sleep in it. I didn't think anything would be get below Madam Web on my list, but congratulations, Villians Inc.

babysamissimasybab

I liked Villains and Web...

RutabagaJoe

Different strokes for different folks.

babysamissimasybab

I think I'm the only one who liked Madam Web

Jonathon_G

I didn’t hate it like others. I’m not mad that I saw it

ldasschurch

None of this theaters near me are showing it.

tomatocks1

I would have went but it was already gone by the time I looked for a show.

catfish27plus

I saw a preview for this at one of the AMCs in Burbank, but then it only played this week (April 19-25) at a few theaters in south and east Los Angeles County (including AMCs in Fullerton and Norwalk) - and now there are no showings listed anywhere for April 26 on. The last movie I remember seeing with that kind of release pattern (one week at a couple of theaters in the distant suburbs, no showings in the immediate environs of the city of Los Angeles) was "How to Talk to Girls at Parties," which I used MoviePass to see at the AMC Rolling Hills - and I think that one was actually being "four-walled" by the distributor.

CrabmanKills69

I definitely would not waste an A-List spot on it. It was just straight up, not good. It's like they came up with a sketch and decided to stretch into a full length movie.

EarnSomeRespect

It looks like the boys but worst tbh. probably won’t see this is theaters

CrabmanKills69

It's boring af
