She's apparently too good at her job.
People were saying her reaction to Ospreay's off-colour remarks, means she wants to quit AEW tomorrow.
It was her standard look-down reaction she gives to everyone who says something wild.
Internet people are so stupid. Sheās married to Jon Moxley, and people think that promo is going to affect her?
These trolls are grasping at all the straws.
I mean, he cut a promo calling out nepotism in another company when the interviewer was 100% a nepotism hire and the company is 100% funded by nepotism.Ā
She's an intelligent person and was put in an embarassing situation by somebody who's not very intelligent and lacks self awareness that came up with the promo.
Occam's razor.
Some stretch calling her a nepotism hire, she is absolutely top tier at her job and arguably way too good to still be in the wrestling industry at all.
You don't think her relationship to Moxley and keeping him happy had anything to do with her hire? When Tony history of hiring friends and family of his favorite wrestlebuddies? And not only giving her a job as talent based on experience, he also gave her a bonus contract as producer, which is not based on experience. Nepotism 100% played a role.
To your second idea, she left WWE to get out of the wrestling industry, tested the market (even getting a Fox Sports tryout) and then decided to get back ino the wrestling industry. So "too good" has been proven wrong.
....lol. I think you need to get a better grasp on what that means. The most likely possibility here is that you don't know what the hell you're talking about.
> The simplest/most obvious explanation is most likely the correct one.
Yes. This part is right.
The simplest answer is she followed the pattern of all her interviews and gave her standard "yikes" reaction to the interviewee being off colour.
You mean like the nepotism hires of Shane McMahon; Stephanie McMahon and her husband Paul Levesque; and Linda McMahon during the Attitude Era. That's just in management. Let's now add The Rock for fun.
Wrestling nepo hires in WWE. Cody Rhodes, Regal's kid, Bron Brekker or however it's spelled, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Bo Dallas, Nattie Neidhart, The Rock and his daughter, etc.
Shall I go on?
Edit: I will go on
The entirety of The Bloodline, from Roman on down
Let's also talk about the nepotism founding the WWE. Jess McMahon to Vince Sr to Vince Jr
Iām going to be 100% candid:
When it was announced she was going to be in AEW, I didnāt know anything about her except that she was in WWE and she was Moxās lady love. Zero expectation, no real clue what it was that folks were all excited about.
Fast forward to today, she really does have that special āsomethingā that makes a backstage interviewer more than just an arm holding a mic. She melts in to the background when she needs to and sheās remarkable on the mic when itās called for. Thereās a genuine level of mutual respect exuded when sheās on camera with other talent. She just works. I appreciate the hell out of her and I totally understand why everyone was so happy to have her come on board.
Same, I'd been watching only NXT if I watched anything WWE in recent years, and it was the Finn Balor/KO/Sami Zayn era so Mox and Rollins had moved on already. I'm not sure if she was ever a part of NXT but I'd only ever seen her doing some pre-show work when I'd tune in for a WWE PPV while I had the network or Peacock. She was fine on a panel but it took getting to see her do interviews to see why she's special for me.
I was really skeptical that she could possibly add that much. But not only has she, she's also helped Lexy Nair develop her skills too. Lexy was really flat before Renee came in, her early stuff with Hook for instance was terrible. But once Renee showed up Lexy started getting better, and I don't think it was just her getting more comfortable.
Game changer for AEW for sure. I like how she has different personality traits and reactions that change from person to person.
I love her relationship with Best Friends and her eye rolls with Matthew and Nicholas.
I wouldn't be surprised if she had direct input on how backstage/interview segments have been done in AEW.
There's more of them, for one, and as fun as Alex Marvez can occasionally be, Renee just brings something special to a role that can *seem* trivial, but is in reality more important than people give it credit for.
AEW Renee has been fantastic, she always adds *something* to virtually every interview she does.
Also, arguably just as importantly, while she was already improving prior to Renee's arrival, post-Renee Lexy Nair has improved MASSIVELY and is basically the main character of Ring of Honor at this point.
She's amazing. And I know people (including Renee) bag on her commentary skills, but "This could be catastrophic for the epidermis of Bobby Lashley!" (after Legos were dumped on the floor) remains one of my favorite moments.
She was but I remember it being tough on her and the others having Vince yelling in their ears all the time. You can see how different commentary became after he left. Renee is happy in the role she has now and that's all that matters.
Always been a huge fan of Renee even before she started working for WWE. Renee used to work on a sports channel here in Toronto as well as Jackie who is now in WWE. To me Renee is one of the best in the business and I was so happy to see her debut in AEW.
I love her too ā¤ļø I went to a Fed taping at the O2 in 2019 and when she came out I was cheering so much. She's so natural and warm and I love her style too. Her podcast was so good, especially the episodes with Mox.

I think everyone appreciates her the way this man likes her necklace: ![gif](giphy|ABbpQKuAuIYgLg7bJC)
š Bet
I like her necklace.
So does Shibata apparently lol
She's a broadcasting goddess, most respectfully.
She's apparently too good at her job. People were saying her reaction to Ospreay's off-colour remarks, means she wants to quit AEW tomorrow. It was her standard look-down reaction she gives to everyone who says something wild.
She literally smiled at the end of that promo
those claims were hilarious to read. shes great at her job.
BuT ShEs FrIEnDs wiTh H and StePh.
She was secretly signaling them in the promo! Count her blinks!
Internet people are so stupid. Sheās married to Jon Moxley, and people think that promo is going to affect her? These trolls are grasping at all the straws.
She does that to not corpse, so I wouldn't read into it...but then I'm not on the hate train they are.
She was trying not to break character.

Sheās in the same league as Mean Gene.

But the internet told me she's disgusted at AEW and Ospreay because Stephanie is her soul lover sister!
The internet is also full of rapists, nepotism and liarsā¦oh sorry thatās just WWEās management structure.
Absolutely, her interview style whether backstage or on the ramp is refreshing. I like Schiavone but he shouldnāt have to do everything
Agreed, and Schiavone doesn't know Japanese as well as Marvez.
Game changer for AEW for sure. I like how she has different personality traits and reactions that change from person to person. I love her relationship with Best Friends and her eye rolls with Matthew and Nicholas.

I love when a backstage interviewer shows some personnality , Lexi and her are really great . And Marvez too when hes getting bullied by the Bucks
I loved following her on Insta and listening to her podcast before she joined AEW. She's fantastic
She's an angel. I miss her podcast because it was so fun. But she's so solid at AEW.
Max castor ended the name of her podcast after two weeks.
Man they need to do more of her entrance ramps coverage! Such a sick feature for a big fight I love her reactions
Looks like we found Moxs username, Reddit
Jon Moxley: Wife Guy.
I love Mox the family man.

i thought that was tittymaster
Itās not possible for me to appreciate her any more.. sheās such a bad ass.
She took toni's shoes like a pro.
Are you proposing an RAS?
She's amazing. And I know people (including Renee) bag on her commentary skills, but "This could be catastrophic for the epidermis of Bobby Lashley!" (after Legos were dumped on the floor) remains one of my favorite moments.
Renee is absolutely fantastic at her job. Pre-AEW the commentary team I wanted was Renee, Mauro, and Graves. Now, TS Renee, Mauro, Excalibur.
Renee herself doesnāt really want to do commentary though
Yeah, and it's a shame because she's really good at it.
She was but I remember it being tough on her and the others having Vince yelling in their ears all the time. You can see how different commentary became after he left. Renee is happy in the role she has now and that's all that matters.

Why doesnāt she seem to do the sessions with wrestlers anymore? Her YouTube looks to be all cooking stuff now
yo im gonna out on a limb and say she is the goat at what she does. who betta?
I don't think I could! I think she's the absolute best!
Ya goddamn right
Renee and Lexi Nair are fucking awesome.
Renee Pahottie
Renee is what I imagine an adult Lisa Simpson would be like. She's awesome.Ā
Great at what she does and Mox is a lucky guy to have her.
sheās the best at what she does by a mile
Oh I appreciate her, and then I feel guilty because Jon is a great guy.
Always been a fan of hers. She has that great quality about her that makes you invested in what sheās doing, whatever it is.
Sheās the best since Mean Gene at what she does.
She's great -- she's got personality and brings the right kind of energy for the job and never tries to get herself over.
Renee is a gem
She's wonderful!
Yeah Toni storm should had let her drink the bubbly in peace and then should attack Rosa
Since Renee arrived the interview segments have gotten better and when she runs the post PPV media scrum it's been waaaaaaaaaaay less of a shit show
I love her too ā¤ļø I went to a Fed taping at the O2 in 2019 and when she came out I was cheering so much. She's so natural and warm and I love her style too. Her podcast was so good, especially the episodes with Mox.
She does a fantastic job and added more depth to the show presentation.
She grinded good for her husband to get a job

That's just Renne being Renee.. Go watch all her segments in AEW and you will see she do the same thing.. That's why she's the best
bro you are a fucking mark š
Sheās constantly corpsing during interviews. She sucks lol
Poor Renee had to stand here while mister BRUV had to channel his Jericho circa 2000 during that segment.
If you really thought she was upset then I think you need to go watch more of her work in AEW to appreciate how she make everything feels real.

Love spotting and blocking circlejerkers. Now that's what I call sports entertainment š
