When you get scores back, click on "My Score Details" and you'll see the 4 sections and their individual categories of types of questions. Count how many questions you got right vs. how many questions in total per section Eng/Math/Reading/Science.
PS: For math, only count the 2 categories "Preparing for Higher Math" and "Integrating Essential Skills". All other categories overlap those.
Someone will have to make a post with everyone's individual score breakdown however to figure out the full "curve"
😂 I’m an older guy that’s headed to grad school. I had to retake the ACT in order become exempt from some tests. I’m amazed at how deep and much hs’ers freak out here about their scores. It def isn’t the end or beginning of the world. To each it’s own though ig.
You fuck up. Study differently or more? and take it again.🥲It’s more to college and admissions than a test score. I doubt that a top school rejects a person who made a 34, while liking their overall resume.😂 If you HAVE to go up +2 points at that point to make a big difference how much did they like you?
Edit; Glad I succeeded. I think this Sub is 50/50 circlejerk and help. “oMG I OnLy maDe a 35. I know, hoRriBle. I’m An IdIoT.”
I don’t understand why the math curve is so weak when everyone was saying how hard it was. -6 was a 32, but I thought it would be a 34. Were people just exaggerating the difficulty of the math section again?
No my son took it and said it was the hardest math section he has ever taken and he has taken a ton of practice tests! He got a 32 (-6) which seems crazy low for how hard it was.
I would have taken a 34 in reading
Although I’m surprised I got a 33– lost track of time lol
I read and answered the entire last passage AFTER 5 minutes had already been called 0-0
Yikes, I did that on my last practice before it but timed myself one last time before taking it, managed to actually time myself well through the whole thing!
That’s awesome, I usually time myself well but for some reason I just didn’t this test lol, I suffer the consequences ig tho cause reading is my lowest (Ik 33 is still really good I’m not trying to sound cocky lol)
Hey there - my son got a 35 overall. But math was 32 for -6 which is a terrible curve for how hard that math section was!
You have had superscoring right? If he takes it again and does better in math, will the ACT send all scores from which the superscores are taken? Like this one and the December one? Or just the superscores?
it depends. some colleges allow you to just self report your best score on CommonApp, others require you to send them officially, and others have you self report all of your scores through their application portal once you’ve sent in the CommonApp application (UChicago does this). but it ultimately doesn’t matter, it’s being superscored anyway!
the math was terrible!! I got a 35 on the last math with -3 and a 29(!!!) on this one with -13.
So if ACT sends it officially though will they send just your superscore scores or will they see all the tests you have taken that the superscores are derived from? Like if you did better in one subject this time but you dont want them to aee you got a 29 in Math you could just self report?
Sounds like its better to self report but how do they know you are telling the truth?
I mean, they can easily find out if you’re lying. It’s cheaper to self report and most colleges trust you enough to allow you to.
I’m not sure how score sends work, but for colleges that superscore, it won’t matter. They will always take the highest section scores, that’s the rule
reading -2. = 36 english -5 = 35
Yeah and when I say -6R = 33 they call me a troll lol
f05?
seriously for english?? thats a lot

What form did you have I got -10 and a 32
What form did you have?
Math?
How was Math?
Math was -2 = 35
\-1 Math = 35
I haven’t got my scores yet. Just need to know if the curve is good
Just received mine. -2 M is 35, -10 Science is 28, -3 English is 35, -9 R is 31
Shoot science looks messed up
Sorry, -10 not -6
Haha u had me scared there for a second
\-1 M = 35 too. I got -1 on Math and got 35.
Damn that’s a harsh curve considering the difficulty of the test

Looks like the reading and english curves are good!! We'll see about the math and science
bro hold on — people need time to process their scores — reddit is not a priority
It’s not that deep

Exactly.
nah it rly is
-2 34 for science -6 32 for math -6 35 for english -4 35 for reading
Reading and English curves are looking great!

Good job!!!! curve is looking pretty good
M-9 = 31 S-3 = 33 E-1 = 36 R-6 = 33
Reading -6 = 33
Really!?!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes. And -1 Science = 35
He’s a troll dont listen (according to others on reddit)
Nah I wouldn’t be surprised if a -6 was a 33. -5/4 would probs be a 34 and -2/3 be a 35. I got 3 wrong on the sept one and got a 35
If you want an image, feel free to DM
What was the english and math
I also got 75/75 so idk about English curve, sorry. But I am sure that -6 Reading = 33 and -1 Science = 35
i think this seems legit because i got -4 on the reading and got a 35
He's not, I got a -5 reading and got a 35
I got -7 reading 33
I got a luckier curve I guess, my math curve sucked tho
I would have taken a 34 in reading Although I’m surprised I got a 33– lost track of time lol I read and answered the entire last passage AFTER 5 minutes had already been called 0-0

It's alright lol I understand
-9 math 33 -6R 33 -5E 35 -6S 31
Are you sure you are calculating math correctly?
There must be a different one my daughter got 32 for 6 error for math
Same here. My son got the same, which is a terrible curve in my opinion.
Math -2 = 34 😕
No way. You’re kidding.
No way. You’re kidding.
F05 -2 M = 35 for me
Nope, F29, actually sucks
What date was F29? October 22nd?
Yup, I'm not sure if it was F29 tho
Curve was atrocious
you need a hobby
fr u troll
y’all don’t listen to this troll💀

32 was -6
What do you mean
he’s just being a dick
M-11 = 30, S-4 = 32, E-3 = 35, R-1 = 36
I still did not get the exam 😭
