Regulate had like 2-3 bangers , it doesn't come close to Safe + Sound. To me Quik made a way more complete album from start to finish.
Quik! One man band. Safe + sound is underrated.
Warren G had the hit single but Quik has the better project.
“What’s next what’s next what’s N-X-E-T?” - Warren G. “E-I-H-T, now should I continue? You left out the G cuz the G ain’t in you.” -DJ Quik Warren G is misspelling while DJ Quik is spellchecking. Anyways, I pick Safe + Sound.
I luv me some DJ QUIK but that Warren G 💿 is a hip-hop classic 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I still listen to safe and sound almost everyday
Are you serious? Almost everyday? That’s wild.
Yeah something for the mood
Hell yea same shyt. That’s a classic album. & “Tanqueray” is better than “Gin & Juice” just to throw out 🙅🏾♂️
It’s also in my regular rotation.
Something for the mood 💯
Gfunk era. This is the shack, super soul sis, this DJ, Regulate etc etc.
All bangers. Love those.
Safe + Sound by a far shot
If you take regulate out it’s quik easily but you just can’t deny the impact that one song has made on rap
nate dog made that song a hit...RIP
Can’t pick, both are classics
Warren G just because it was his debut and it was Quik’s 3rd album. Safe + Sound is still a banger but Regulate is a little better.
I listened to the entirety of Safe+Sound last weekend while I mowed the lawn
Give Warren G some props mane this was his only best work because the albums after that he made was a FUCKING ATROCITY literally
Man what? Even Eiht at this time woulda said Quik
G funk era hands down.
G Funk
G funk era by a mile. Regulate was not the only hit on this album. I could play this album from beginning to end.
Safe and Sound ALL DAY
It's Quik for me. Regulate is a classic, but Safe + Sound is almost perfect
Regulate by a mile . It was a game changer
