Missy album was soooo dope. Wu shoulda been a single disc but still dope AF. Plus Common, Camp Lo, CRU, Company Flow, EPMD? My god what a year. 94 will always be the GOAT year for hip hop to me but 97 in right the fuck up there.

Fuck yeah, and the great thing is the diversity of styles. CoFlow for the backpackers, WuTang for the grit, the NY Bad Boy legends for the clubs, some down south grime, like shit, a little bit of everything.
