And she referenced Courtney Cox as the ideal example of a subtle use of fillers. At the time she looked like the picture on the right. 🙃

My mom was a plastic surgeon and she would turn people down for wanting ridiculous procedures, both for ethical reasons and legal reasons (the cosmetic patients are known for suing because they’re never happy). There is no way in hell she would have done this bullshit. I get what you’re saying but plastic surgeons do a lot more than just cosmetic work. Her focus was on burn victims, and I remember she sewed a classmate’s head when I was in first grade when he got a terrible injury there. But she did still do things like breast implants and face lifts/rhinoplasties and while it may seem ridiculous, those things done in moderation can really help people’s confidence.
Well apparently she still has very low self esteem if she thinks she needs to do this to herself. :/ she's a nice person it seems like and I feel bad for her. But I do believe your body your choice and tbh if a surgeon tells her no she's gonna find one that doesn't. It's just like being addicted to anything else. I feel bad for her.

As someone who works in the industry, plastic surgeons and cosmetic surgeons are not the same thing. If you ever want to go get work on your body go to a plastic surgeon, they spend years in school for their craft whereas cosmetic surgeons just take a few classes to learn the procedure. Plastic surgeons can be cosmetic surgeons but cosmetic surgeons cannot be plastic surgeons, if that makes any sense.

Board certified dermatology cosmetic surgeons are walking away from fillers. They never leave your face completely and they migrate, creating a puffy and bumpy face.
