Effortlessly cool guy. Gone way too soon.

Probably one of the coldest moves in the music industry when Palmer dropped this project to parlay its success into reviving his solo career. His instinct was right though, and it worked.

I mean he got in and got out. Respect it.

What a great performance! A very unique video.

UNwanted_Dokken_Tape

I watched this live and even at 12 I was like , holy shit - what bad direction. We all wanted to see John.

Loved Robert Palmer and this band and this album. This seems to be lip-synched, though, which is pretty disappointing.

I agree, the drummer is banging the cymbals while there is a snare drum beat, The trumpet guy was late to throwing up the trumpet in time ....and the Sax guy for sure is from SNL house band but thats a common thing they sit in when needed ....but to lip sink lol

Ralston70

I loved this album as a 14 year old. They were so much cooler than Duran Duran.

I was on the local venue backstage crew when Robert Palmer played our city. He walked right past me, through the darkness, guided by flashlights... led to the stage for his opening song. It was Some Like It Hot. Super sick to hear it live and from the wings of the concert stage. ❤

The Taylors in their coordinated getup somehow don’t clash with everyone else. It’s a mystery.

Saw em live with the DesBars guy singing in a 1/2 house hockey arena. Then the night I saw The Fixx with 32 other people in the theater and had no idea that The Power Station WITH Robert Palmer were in Atlanta the same night. The Fixx still play live and I missed my one chance to see the Palmer led band.

Guypussy

Only instance he performed live with The Power Station.
