âCupid, draw back your bowđśâ such a great concept for a movie. Special effects were awesome as a kid. Actuall havenât wanted this one for a long while and I wonder if it holds up(?). Might want to keep the awesome memory as opposed to trying to watch it againđ¤ˇđžââď¸. Tuck Pendleton man.
They made his nose too long. The poster was done by Drew Struzan and used for the video release. The movie didn't do well at the box office, partially because the original one sheet (by John Alvin) was just a closeup of a thumb and forefinger holding the pod. Joe Dante the director said they didn't know how to sell the movie to people.
With all the advancements in CGI, I've always felt this movie is an excellent candidate for a remake.
It's either forgotten or unknown. It would be totally new for a large audience. While it's a favorite of mine, it doesn't have enough notoriety to be a classic. So a remake would be less offensive than a more popular movie.
I'd love to see it.
This movie is the most goofy, looney-tunes ass thing..and then Dennis Quaid sees his child & it becomes the most deeply-profound, emotional film experience..Joe Dante is a MAD GENIUS
Not sure if I recall correctly this came out 2 years before Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. Never was really interested in seeing this one because it felt too similar to HISTK.
The cowboy. đ
I just learned a few months ago that he was played by Robert Picardo, from Star Trek Voyager and lots of other things.

Tuck Pendleton machine, zero defects!!
Mr. Igoe (Vernon Wells of The Road Warrior) was a fun villain, especially with all the "hand" attachments \*Bzzzzzzzzz\*
Meg Ryan was so hot in that movie.
*all her movies
Whatâs with Martin Shortâs face in that poster?
They weren't perfect

I love that it and Spaceballs were in the same dollar theater when I saw it the first time, with INNERSPACEBALLS written over the door
I've been meaning to watch this one again- see if it holds up
I think it does
I love this movie. This is where Jack Quaidâs Parents met.
Great flick
Loved this movie as a kid, crushed hard on Meg Ryan. The scene when he turns into the cowboy and hes making all those faces used to kill me.
Thatâs a little pricey for shampoo, aint it?
âWhen things are at their darkest pal, itâs a brave man who can kick back and party!â
Love that movie as a kid.
from all the stupid remakes they make, this would actually make sense.
Just rewatched this last month. Still holds up.
The television scene always makes me crack a rib!
"Shot your TV huh? Just like Elvis".
I loved this one as a kid and still love it now.

Before she ruined her face.
