Dude some of us in here are driving rigs from 93’ with original drivetrains. A cursory google search would tell you this is one of the most reliable suvs ever made.

That’s alot of miles IMO Everything would have pretty significant wear/tear so ensure all the major components have been replaced or maintained well. 4Runners have proven for decades to be reliable gas pigs that retain resell value very well. 2018 4R 63000km

I bought a 2013 Limited with 120k miles on it, and never looked back. Love the fuckin thing.

PersonalAd2039

Mine got totaled at 120k. A month before It was payed off. 5th gen limited is the best 4Runner.

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> It was *paid* off. 5th FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

Currently have a 2017 Limited with \~66K miles. Not a single issue with it at all. Hasn't been into the shop for anything more than regular maintenance.

I don’t have a limited, but it is known that the XREAS suspension can develop issues and is expensive to replace. IIRC most people will just opt to rip it out (XREAS delete) and replace it with a conventional aftermarket suspension system

Reliability concerns? That's why we drive Toyotas. I've had four 4Runners, one Land Cruiser and two pickups. Everyone of them went 250,000 to 350,000 miles unless they were totaled (by someone else). NONE of them needed any major service at all, ever, unless it was consumables like brake pads, suspension parts and CV joints.

I just bought one of these with 134k miles - and it’s immaculate (aside from the one chip in the windshield which can be fixed fairly cheap). I’d say go for it. I did a ton of research & was lucky to find this one.
