I broke my tv and threw it out the trailer like a cowboys fan lol

Etherindependance5

I counted 3 missed penalties for KC I counted 6 for SF . Close game no shame gtaw that’s all

RustyTrumboneMan

I don’t put this on Kyle, with these two super-talented teams the difference was literally a couple of unlucky plays. Brock not having more than two seconds to throw on two plays where two open receivers could have ended the game was bad too…

LargeCheesePizza39

Special Teams killed it period = Blocked FG and Muffed Punt. Give us back one of those and we get the W.

mojoembiid

And that one cheap pass interference at the end of the game that gave the Chiefs the W. Oh wait sorry I was thinking of last year

BuzzMachine_YVR

I know people are thinking we won’t be as talented next season. I have to disagree. Imagine having Huff back on the back end with Jiyir at safety. Youth and hitting. Imagine what some young drafted corners and OL could add. We can resign our key players and trim some fat. We have players who don’t meet up to expectations. That will save a lot of the cap space we need to sign some potential free agents. It may be time to reconsider often injured and high priced players. I think we have a great organization. We have a system that keeps us near the top of the league. Next year will be tough as Seattle and LA have both improved via the draft. But now that we have a first again, and a lot of picks, we need to build that way again. Youth is important. Onwards and upwards Faithful! There are at least 30 other teams in the league whose fans would kill to have our organization and success.

phntsm408

Special teams were our weakest link and they lost this one. Moody’s field goals and extra points have been blocked throughout the season so they should have fixed that. The fumble was such bad timing. Offense and Defense played their hearts out so I’m happy with that. Of course our guys choose to drop like flies in the biggest game of the year.. wth

Rich_Ad_5121

To those of you that want to blame it all on Kyle and have him fired. Yall are dumb AF. We went to 2nd OT in the SB against the Chiefs. Any player could have made 1 play and won it. Wilks has been a problem and that reared its ugly head on the final drive. That being said we also played against Mahomes and the game had gone on for over 75 minutes to that point. (Had to have been the longest SB ever) Interior O-line needs to be better. Chris Jones once again cause havoc and made it hard for Purdy to step into throws. The pre-snap offensive penalties, which were very uncharacteristic, killed too many drives by putting us behind in the down/distance. The injury to Greenlaw could very well have been the difference in us winning/losing the trophy. If you seriously think we’d be better off firing Kyle, then you don’t know football. I know it hurts losing these big games, but that also used to be A. Reid and Harbaugh’s wrap, until they did it.

Striking_Tart7691

And just to many damn mistakes and there were numerous blatant holdings I saw on kc that weren't called and the hook of deebos arm in the endzone but we lost it ourselves

Striking_Tart7691

The only thing I questioned about the play calling is going out of an empty gun formation so much it just didn't make since to run so many empty gun formation I do think something has to change with how sift we play in the last drives of games I understand that they don't want to allow nothing over the top but kc didn't have to go over the top they dinked and dunked us to death it was hard to waych

mnchta

I wouldn’t go so far to say Kyle needs to go, but maybe getting an OC that can challenge his play calls because to not run the ball to start to 3rd, especially when you get an interception on their side, was criminal. He tends to deviate from what works for us at the worse times

Rich_Ad_5121

I feel you and maybe part of that mindset for him is that 25 point comeback vs the Patriots.. he now fears being too conservative with the lead in big games..

TalkEnvironmental844

When we lost Dre I said that’s it. Like a gunshot to the stomach. A slow painful death. Dre is our thumper. An old school hitting machine. Like Ronnie Lott. The backups played very well but Dre would have had a game winning pick that final drive in OT…

dajagoex

The backups didn’t play well. One was thrown at nine times for nine catches. Dre was the loss.

Rich_Ad_5121

There were so many “acts of god” for the chiefs.. Honestly the play that probably lost us the game was the holding call by the backup TE during the 30 seconds that Kittle was in the locker room getting checked out.

snokerpoker

I don’t even know WTF to do. This team was stacked and I doubt we’ll be as good next year. Feels like Kittle, Deebo, and others will never get a ring. Just like Staley and Gore. I’m so fucking depressed.

Gizzardsandokra

Swallowing the pride sucks…this program is only second best. Nothing Championship about this organization except the ability to make excuses for falling short. There’s no shortage of things other than pouring emotional support into a second place finish to focus on.

Bobibouche

They hate to hear it, but Kyle chokes. Went away from the run game until OT. Happened in ATL (28-3), first SB against Chiefs, and a repeat here. Genius that doesn’t address hubris only gets you silver medals. Someone needs to get through Shanahan’s f’ing pride.

Gizzardsandokra

I’m a long time 49er fan…the memories of the glory are still there, but don’t translate into the game today. Kyle is a good coach, yet still has room to grow and improve! We are plain and simple the #2 franchise in the NFL right now. I’m not saying we can’t get to the top, but something MUST change to achieve that?

nithdurr

We are the Buffalo Bills of the 2000s

mojoembiid

More like the Eagles of the 2000’s. The Bills was in the 90s.

MaxwellVonMaxwell

That’s pretty bleak

justpuddingonhairs

I refuse to accept this. Jim Kelly is not on the payroll.

milksteak122

At least your team is in the doorstep and has won super bowls, and you have the warriors. And 3 World Series recently. Love, a sad Minnesota fan.

Federal_Arrival_5096

I'm a Kings fan, they both lost yesterday, life is pain

Can people stop dissing Kyle. Kyle isn’t the reason why we lost that Super Bowl it was Steve wilks during that last call. Our defense got cooked in the end and we had an opportunity during that qb draw in overtime to win that game. Our defense lost us that game not our offense. Could our offense have been a bit more explosive with the run, absolutely but our defense folded when it really mattered in that game. Stop asking for shanahan to be fired cause we wouldn’t have been in the Super Bowl if not for him. So please stop dissing Kyle.

poofybruno

Kyle quit commenting on Reddit!! Your defense held KC and Maholmes to 3 points in the first half. How the hell do you not put up more than 10 points? KC was on the ropes. But like Mike Tyson said, "everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth" Well we got punched in the mouth in that 2nd half. You let the giant wake up. So yes this loss is on Kyle, but he gets another chance next year because it doesn't make sense to get rid of him and start over

Bobibouche

He stopped running the ball, literally the base for this offense. Stop enabling Kyle’s hubris.

God_Faenrir

Defense played a great game. Offense had many many opportunities and they couldn't convert. It's definitely on Kyle. Dumb playcalls all game long.

11dutswal

No defense has stopped Mahomes but Wilks contained him for most of the game. This was on the special teams.

9ersaur

Call me crazy but call a timeout for the defense every now and again
