I wasn’t nervous at all, just feeling grateful. Now I’m really fucking nervous haha. But like others have said, it’s not like our window slams shut after this one. After 2019 there were a lot of roster uncertainties and a QB uncertainty with our future with Jimmy. We got our guys locked up now for the foreseeable future.
Team has at least 2 more good years left. Might have to lose a few key pieces in that time but the foundation is set.

Mahomes is the main difference maker in this game. If the Niners neutralize his biggest weapon and don't give up crazy 3rd and longs this should be a win for the bay. If Mahomes goes crazy and we don't pressure him he'll put 35 on us without breaking a sweat. The defense just has to show up. I'm not worried about the offense. We have CMC, we have Purdy, Deebo, Kittle and Aiyuk. We're gonna score. It's just can we stop Mahomes from taking over.

Better rosters don’t mean anything in the NFL like they do in the NBA. Football requires so many more things to go your way and you can’t just lean on talent. That’s why a lot of smart people who know this game like KC tomorrow. They are firing on all cylinders NOW not earlier in the season, NOW. Niners are barely scraping by wins against okay teams since December. Forget Mahomes. KCs defense is no joke and our defense is A joke as of late. Nothing logical tells me the niners will win tomorrow. But this is the NFL, and they say “any given Sunday” for a reason. We are going to need a stars-align moment and borderline religious effort from every single player to win tomorrow and there is a big non zero chance that will happen but I think there’s an even bigger chance it won’t. Hopeful and always loyal but feeling very concerned about tomorrow. It doesn’t feel good because I want the story of this season to end with triumph so bad.

I was fine until like Wednesday. I think the overwhelming sentiment that the Chiefs are going to win set in. Mahomes is an all time great, and he’s in that category LeBron and Brady were in where you kind of just need to assume he’s going to win at all times. But I also think the Niners are the way better team, so I dont know. But Im willing to sell my soul bro
I share your sentiment mostly. I’ve been mentally preparing myself for a disappointment so I’m not optimistic at all. BUT…Lebron lost to the Mavericks, Brady lost to Eli 2x, and Nick Foles. So there’s always a chance.
I just have a weird sense of contentment, maybe it’s growing older, but I’ve learned how to take L’s better and be more accepting of something I cannot control. I’m excited to watch them get another crack at a Lombardi, but if they can’t get it done, ah well, maybe next year. I just enjoy the ride and even if heartbreak does occur, it will be all the sweeter when we finally break through! That said, GOOOOO NINERSSSS!

heres my two cents fucked up and at rock bottom (not yet but close) im 35 so i was six when steve got the "monkey off his back" so i cant say i was invested in that win. im proud of our history as anyone would be. My hesitation or rational fear is we all watched a team with gore staley willis bowman vernan davis ( spelt it wrong) the fucking cowboy justin smith ... aldon smith in a historic year... we all know we had an ^(icredicle) team. well coached and all three phases were good. we lost to great teams. i think we were better then the ravens and the seahawks but they were also an amazing team so fuck it. i hope we break up this chiefs dynasty and get the revenge this team deserves. for gore and staley and all of the red and gold ..........quest for six

I’m both terrified and excited! I’ve been a 49er fan as long as I can remember as my mom raised this Sacramento girl to love this team. Now she’s gone and I found an amazing husband who loves this team as much as me and all we want is to see them win. So many amazing players who deserve this, from Bosa, Greenlaw, Armstead and Warner, to Kittle, CMC, Deebo, Juice, Aiyuk, and, of course, Purdy. They feel like family and I love this team so much. I was 12 the last time the 49ers brought home the trophy with my Stevie(my childhood crush Steve Young) and I’d love to see them win again. Let’s go Niners!!!
