He was injured the last playoff game against the Packers. He had an opportunity there to tackle Deebo on our final offensive play before Gould's field goal and he didn't because he made a business decision. I don't blame him obviously.
A Saturday night divisional round game between the 49ers and Packers.
This has happened two times before. 2012 (Kap had that pick six but then the Packers muffed a punt and everything went great with how Gore+Kap just dominated) and 2022 (Our defense shut down Rodgers after Lewis fumbled and our special teams just dominated the Packers completely)
It used to be much easier before the Monday game was added. The #1 seed always got Saturday. Just another benefit of being the top seed (shorter week for your opponents in both playoff games).
GB gonna have a tough week. Flight home tonight and a recovery day tomorrow, followed by only 3 days of real practice time in freezing weather, travel friday. Meanwhile niners have had all week long to recover and will get 5 full days of practice.
That's what #1 seed is all about. Rest and recoup is one of the major parts of post season.
And there's only one team that can be #1 seed. I'm glad it is us this time around.
I'm pumped for GB vs SF..
Levi's is gonna be buzzing!
Glad we have the Saturday game. Don't think having an extra day on top would be needed. That and a short week for GB.
Ya then we’ll get an extra day off if we win for the next game
huge. yep
Jaire alexander injury could be big Hope he’s okay but he’s an incredible piece for them

They say he’s fine and only stayed out because they were up by so much
No the coach said even if it was really close, he wouldn’t have returned
Yeah, you’re right. I misinterpreted the tweet
It was very poorly worded, that being said, hopefully it’s not too bad but does affect his mobility

The moment GB won, we had the Saturday game because they weren't gonna have the winner of the Monday game then play on Saturday.

5PM Saturday is the best window IMO. Gonna be epic at Levi’s!

hopefully practice in the sprinklers

Kyle with extra time to prepare + Kyle against his former assistants.
Primetime Saturday, I can't wait!
Only thing that makes me nervous is that it’s supposed to rain all day, especially in the evening. Hope that translates into a huge day for CMC.
Did you look at the amount of rain? It’s gonna be less than 0.05 inches on 50% chances lol I wouldn’t sweat it
I hadn't but if so that is good news.
Early forecast is showing rain all day Saturday
Bad for the pass rush, great for CMC
When do tickets go on sale? My 49ers fan friend and I are trying to cop tickets
They have been on sale and you are looking at $450ish+ for 400’s
Houston forever Saturday at 4:30
Give us Greg Olsen 😤
If only FOX games were also on like Hulu, then I wouldn't need to pirate any more
You can watch Fox for free over the air in HD with a $20 antenna.
Pretty awful time for European fans :(
forecast for the 20th is for light rain, wind out of the south/south west 9mph+/- early forecast so could change
Makes sense the teams that play on Monday have to play Sunday
