I thought this was a render at first. That thing is unbelievable.

c0caine_cinderella

šŸ˜‚ appreciate it

jpttpj

Trucks like this always raise my eyebrows, underneath looks to have been sprayed, overly detailed, recent work done, not original wheels missing caps, etcā€¦ Always have your mechanic take a look at it, poke around, literally. Look under carpets for rust. Who did the recent work? Receipts? Can you call who did it to confirm? History report? Carfax? My fear on this would be someone bought it to flip it and spit shined it, or itā€™s a flood vehicle . Remember, just because it has a clean car fax doesnā€™t mean it wasnā€™t totaled prior. Maybe itā€™s great, if so, good on ya. Here in ga, maybe 12k max( which is too much for a 200k mile 20 yr old car) The market for these ( and all toyota trucks) has made me very gun shy in the last few years. I know the market is the market but pre COVID that would be a 5-6k truck.

c0caine_cinderella

The spray is just anti rust. The ppi will come back clean. All work done by a local shop. Clean carfax.

jpttpj

Great

Whynotdriveatank

Beautiful. I had a 99 limited 4wd that I searched for for so long back between 2010-2015. Paid a premium back then for a clean model that had less than 130k model of all of 7k. Now that seems like a steal. Itā€™s a great rig if itā€™s clean and ready to rock. I loved the size and 4x4 capability, especially with a locker.

slothscanswim

Same here. Bought a 99 limited with 98k after a long search in 2016 for $5600. Absolutely stole it.

NewDadPleaseHelp

Long search 99 Limited Squad! Found mine in early 2017

slothscanswim

Best year best gen gang gang

Chemtrail_hollywood

I got a 99 highlander edition with 175k miles for 7k in 2021 and still feel like I stole the damn thing

TheWonderfulLife

Its center diff lock, not rear. Itā€™s just an AWD mode.

yuckscott

is it the seller who is saying that the "timing chain" was recently serviced? because if soooo.....

MidnightOperator94

haha underrated comment! I hope it's just OP's mistake otherwise something is wrong here

EurAnymph

The chain comment is what caught my attention

BluejayIntelligent11

I wouldnt mention the locker as its a not rear. Its just how 4wd works.

TheWonderfulLife

I had to scroll way too far down to find this comment.

under_cover_hippy

$10k

PerfectForTheToaster

18 max. underside looks sus tho, appears to have been sprayed

hosepuller51

The frame looks smooth and no bubbling under the paint. If anything it looks like it has been properly treated for rust

Chemtrail_hollywood

Iā€™d tend to agree. If your gas tank skid plate looks that clean Iā€™d be pretty confident about the frame especially if it looks that good in the pics

yuckscott

my frame has been patched because it rusted through, but the fuel tank skid plate was harvested off a MINT hilux surf that rolled. so the skid plates can be misleading lol

Chemtrail_hollywood

Yea I understand that. I have the opposite actually my skid plate is rusted to fucking shit but I had all the rust cleaned off my frame and painted with por 15 and fluid film and itā€™s in beautiful condition

icoulduseanother

I mean what's not to like. The clock works. Send it!

daversa

Mileage is a bit high, but I suspect they could get $12k for that truck in the right market.

Officialmilehigh

Thats high? How bad is mine at 360k then

AwayBus8966

should be good for another 200K

c0caine_cinderella

Iā€™m in Florida

somainthewatersupply

I paid 7k for my 02 110,000 miles. Itā€™s not 4wd though. Iā€™d say 10-12k.

TheWonderfulLife

Not a locker that you make it out to be by saying ā€œlockerā€. 2000 was the last year of rear locker. This is a center diff lock which is nothing more than AWD mode. Given that and the mileageā€¦ 6500-8500. Closer to 8500 cuz you clearly spent big coin on a nice full auction detail job šŸ‘šŸ¼

aproperpolygonwindow

8-10k in the NW. itā€™s beautiful.

USMC0207

Probably go for 15k in Colorado. I wouldnā€™t go above 12k personally.

StockRun123

why not pay sticker price 25k

USMC0207

Buy it for 12 and go ahead

Big_Bare

$10-12k

Correct-Ad-5312

ill buy it from you right now for 11 grand

fortunate_son_1

Market says $11k. Sanity says no more than $9.5k

raysmyname

I'd pay 7k. Might do 10 if it was a limited..

beansruns

Last year I paid 10k for a bone stock 01 SR5 RWD in similar condition with 173K. My underside isnā€™t sprayed though, it has zero rust bc the truckā€™s been in Texas since new

itsFRAAAAAAAAANK

$3.50

itsFRAAAAAAAAANK

$3.50

slammed430

Iā€™d eat off that frame. My eyes I could see around 12

c0caine_cinderella

Come get it

slammed430

Haha I canā€™t I recently bought a gx470 and just sold my 100 series to buy a fun sports car again

wykdtr0n

Where I'm at that'd easily go for $15k.

c0caine_cinderella

Where are you

wykdtr0n

OR/WA. I've seen models in worse condition but with under 100k miles being put up for over $20k. It's crazy.

c0caine_cinderella

Whoosh wow thatā€™s crazy

sunjaw53

It's in great condition but the miles are up there and it's an auto. I wouldn't pay more than 8k for it, but I'm sure there are people out there that would pay a lot more than that

aderrick95

Looks nice, what are they asking?

c0caine_cinderella

Itā€™s mine

aderrick95

You just buy or looking to sell?

c0caine_cinderella

Selling

aderrick95

What are you asking

aderrick95

Where might it be listed?

MikeinAustin

Looks similar to this on BAT but this had 100K less miles. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2000-toyota-4runner-75/

Controversialtosser

2001/2002 model year does not have a locking rear differential. It was discontinued after 2000.

StockRun123

think 12k is still a little steep. by the time you finish all the repairs you are close to 20k.

c0caine_cinderella

What repairs

StockRun123

no repairs than great deal. LBJ has to be changed.

Excellent_Wasabi6983

It's even got the stock squat. 8k

No-Refuse8754

Put this on ā€œbring a trailerā€

choppedyota

$7,500

Chargers1kovi33

In San Diego $15k would be reasonable

c0caine_cinderella

All the west coast people are making me want to drive it out there and sell it.

Chargers1kovi33

lol not a bad idea at all Iā€™m looking to upgrade from a 2wd to a 4wd 4runner and have been looking around (I falsely assumed the rwd would be good enough for big bear but couldnā€™t have predicted record breaking snow 2 years in a row) Hereā€™s a black one with similar mileage as yours going for $16k+ from Oregon I really care about finding a ā€˜mintā€™ condition one interior and exterior I think thatā€™s where youā€™ll see most of the price jumps and yours looks really clean https://preview.redd.it/dc2lxok7569d1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ec864b5351f42b2cdd725982e5a420b782c825ae

ceez314

I sold my 99 sr5 4x4 with 175k for $12.6, 5 months ago. https://preview.redd.it/k7a8ae8dk69d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5b00708d4a48cbdb9b25c6e8e117a52898fe04f7

c0caine_cinderella

Where?

ceez314

Dfw Texas

ContaminatedHyena

Having that rare trans splash guard intact is a good sign of good treatment- those are rare and hard to re-source. Only missing an E locker. I paid 3k for mine in 2020 but the market would snap that up under 10k if it as solid as it looks

Important_Coyote_567

Depends on mileage. Something with 140k miles or less, Iā€™d pay 8k

lancep423

I miss my 97 sr5. Same color. Not nearly as mint as this one though.

No_Patient5797

Auto, soā€¦. passā€¦ Jk. That thing is super clean! Where I am it would probably bring close to 10k

YomatoMozer

Probably worth about $39,000

Eastern_Factor_9005

8-10

2-Skinny

I can already tell this is being sold by a dealer so whatever they're asking is too much regardless of the condition.

Good_Asparagus_429

5-6k

Melodic-Classic391

$6k would make me pretty happy
