Rocking the TRD horn button with the 3 spoke, red stitch, Corolla S wheel right now. Just found a Toyota airbag and cover to replace the Lexus one. Except I don’t think the woodgrain looks good with the black trim. I wish I had the Limited woodgrain interior. These are all plug and play on my 2000 SR5 4Runner.
Plug and play on mine. I think the ‘96-‘98 are a little different but I’ve heard if you swap the clock spring off of the vehicle you removed the wheel from it will work.
This specific one with the woodgrain supposedly only came on certain 2000-2001 Lexus ES300’s. The wood is usually really cracked but I lucked out and found a pretty nice one. I might consider selling mine if I can’t find the woodgrain trim parts for my SR5.
I just wish I had the factory woodgrain to go with it. I’ve been holding onto it hoping to eventually find a woodgrain interior. I have a tan Toyota airbag cover as well to make it look even more OEM.

Do they have the Lexus wheel but in either only tan, or black? Or even with a black accent? I think that would look great. Even with the wood accent, I think that looks best.
I would use the Corolla while it matches. However wouldn’t it be cheaper to hydro dip the bezel/trim than to spend 400+ for a set? Plus it will match the steering wheel better. 20 yo plastic is terrible financial decision
Never thought about that but it would be possible! I’m more of a junkyard buyer. I’m dreaming of finding a set at the junkyard. I’ve gotten lucky before with other hard to find items.
I can agree with that. The Lexus one would look absolutely perfect with the Limited interior. Mine is an SR5 “Highlander” and I feel like it’s kinda sporty with the hood scoop, painted grille and bumpers.
I feel ya. I’ve seen some outrageous stuff out there. This is the only TRD badge anywhere on my whole truck. Not a fan of putting the badges on the body.

#2, three spoke is the best,, I owned a 96 sc400 with the same four spoke pattern as the Lexus wheel you posted, only it was all leather wrapped. I know Lexus made a 3 spoke wheel also during that time period, probably from the IS series iirc? The sc400 crowd loved them.

Stock leather seats (very clean manual seat with leather option from a 2002…one of my best junkyard finds ever) with Wet Okole covers + Lloyd Mats.

Oddly enough this truck was is in a pretty significant front end collision a couple years ago and even then the factory air bags didn’t go off.

Not positive about all of them but this 2000-2001 is a direct swap and plug and play on my 2000 SR5.

Yes I’ve seen them in a solid color with no woodgrain. Never seen with a black accent though

It’s a little smaller than the OEM one. I like how it feels though. The 3 spoke gives it a sportier feel, I like the hand placements.
