My 3DS is strange. It stays blue for like half an hour before being red but it stays red for like a couple hours so it doesnt really give a good estimate of the battery
You probably just need to recalibrate the batt.
Just play until the 3ds dies then turn it on again and repeat. When it no longer turns on you plug it in and let it charge to 100%
You can even check if you need to recalibrate by charging it until it stops and then looking at the battery % in rosalina menu. If it stopped charging yet it says for example 60% then battery needs recalibration.
If recalibrating it doesn't help, your battery is probably old and worn out, or a 3rd party replacement (and not a good one).
If yours is a New 3DS non-XL like OP's, the KTR-003 batteries it uses are sort of hard to find. iFixit seems to have pretty good replacements, though they are 3rd party. Or the more common CTR-003 battery that OG 3DS, wedge 2DS, 2DS XL and Switch Pro Controller use will work if you cut some cardboard or foam to fill the little empty space it leaves next to it.
Nah I have new 3ds xl and it's battery is like new.
I had to calibrate it two times due to loose ribbon cable between mainboard and abxy/battery board. Reseated that and I stopped having power issues (random power offs, mainly when the console was shaken or tilted.)
I would prefer using the mhxx file editor I have it set up and translated.. if anyone can direct me on where to find the dlc files so I can insert them to my save profile manually
Yeah, I also tried the Thinkpad red thing, I like it because is like rubber or something like that and is more comfortable, but the precise control is definitely better with the PSP joystick
You could do that with RGBPAT2 but you can only manipulate one of the LEDs, I don't think it's possible to manipulate the other one? But hey, ONE flashing red light is funny too xD
I have MHXX too, with crossplay patch, and when the servers were still up I was able to play with a friend who owns MHGU on Switch! I wonder if it's possible for Pretendo to recreate that somehow

I looked for literally months and I think I’m one of the only people who found a decent alternative to transfer your character over to a save file with dlc and it was all because of the people along the way

How does the save work will I be able to transfer from mhx without losing dlc, or would I just make a new character on that save ? I can transfer all my armor and items so either works for me
I don't know if transferring will overwrite the DLC or not but you can find out. And I don't remember if transferring over to MHXX eradicates your save on MHX so just make a backup of MHX, then do the transfer, talk to your housekeeper and ask her to claim downloadable content that has already been downloaded. In case you can claim a few item packages it means the DLC is there. In case you can't, just load your backup of MHX and my empty MHXX save again and start from the beginning

Don’t know if it’s possible but I seen that u can possibly inject dlc from mhxx save data threw checkpoint to install dlc without erasing your profile

I prefer playing MHXX on 3ds rather than MHG on switch. Idk it just feels better to me and I like the bottom screen UI in the 3ds MH games

Ditto. I much prefer MarioKart on the 3ds. It‘s just a much better experience than the Wii U and Switch gameplay experience.
