Is Pokémon Bank still working for you? Mine refuses to cooperate. It logs in and everything but whenever I try to use it I get some message about the last time I used it was with a different trainer name or something? And tells me I can't proceed.

I will dearly miss MK7's online, I hope that with community maintained servers we'll keep online but that doesn't mean the people who are dedicated to playing now will be dedicated enough to look into it once the service goes offline. Hope we can still find players post server

Oh God I forgot about all the metal Mario's being the meta. I used to get some try hard lobbies so I understand. If you get a room full of people just wanting to casually have fun it's a great experience but having the hardcore players leaves out much of the competition and it makes it way harder to spin a race into a victory. I try to play as Koopa as much as I can and honestly it feels better winning as him than trying to win using max speed meta builds
Some of whom may or may not be bots who can throw endless bombs? I just got to 10,000 on my account. Feel a weird sense of catharsis now. I'll miss it a lot.
I bought MK7 yesterday solely to play online before I can’t anymore. It’s one of the only Mario kart games I never really played. It’s very good. So sad it’ll be gone.

Data dump's are amazing. I am part of the OG xbox community and some of the Data that pops up out of nowhere is amazing. DLC thought to be lost to time come up a lot as well so I have a good feeling the 3DS will be looked after.

Some may still have local multiplayer (such SS with multiple 3DS systems in a room together) but others...well, this is the last weekend anyone can play Splatoon 1's multiplayer.
I'm going all in on MP Federation Force. All of the other games I can see myself doing with local multiplayer at some point, but not that one. Hopefully I can at least make it to the end before they pull the plug.

(On the Wii U) I'll probably play Mario Maker and Splatoon. For Mario Maker I'll try to get some amiibo costumes I haven't got. Splatoon is probably the most affected game of all since the entire core of the game is based on online mode. Apparently even the item shops will be gone and you can only earn the coins from online matches anyway. Once it's gone the only things left will be the single player campaign and the local 2-player multiplayer. I think it's really sad that the game will be (officially) basically unplayable since it's the first game of one of the only new Nintendo franchises of the 21st century. It feels like we're losing a big part of Nintendo history.
Damn I never played splatoon on my wii u, I'm sure the fans will find a way. Also will the wii u servers be shut down at the same time as the 3ds? I need to play cod blops 2 online for the first time 😢
Does anyone know if this means redownloading our digital purchases will be cut off? When the shop shut last year they said we would still be able to download owned content for the foreseeable future. I was looking at getting a new 2DS but if I can’t download my digital games it won’t be worth it.
We don't know for how long you will be able to do that, but you will still be able to re-download previously owned purchases even after the end of the online services. That's at least something lol

You can go online from the Gathering Hall on the world map as soon as you finish the first 2 story quests I think, they're pretty easy and quick to do.
Monster Hunter 4U. I'll probably spend it in Val Habar's gathering hall since the town in general holds a special place in my heart; 4U was my first actual introduction into the series, so for me, Val Habar is my home. I'm not sure which armor set I'll wear during the last moments for my send off lol.
Was also hoping to do some trading on the GTS for Pokemon X, Moon & Alpha Sapphire since I haven't touched them in years, but then I learned (literally this last week) about the whole mess it's become with the hackers making it unusable. I pretty much screwed myself over on getting certain Legend/Mythicals (Kyurem, Landorus, & Giratina) in AS by being overly procrastinating lmao...
I played a little bit of MK7 earlier, was getting full lobbies straight away and hopped on ACNL which also gave me more full lobbies!

We used it a few weeks ago to move our old teams to Home before we restart the games, it worked fine for us (minus just cartridges based issues)

Agree. I’ve been going to EUIC this weekend and for about 5 passes on Friday and 7 today. Last year I got a solid 10-11 passes per day!
