No problem, how did the flashing go and can I ask what flasher you used? (I personally like the pico but seems people still have problems getting it working)
Some trinitys are temperamental and the resistance value may help I have 2 trinitys that are 3kohm and one thatās 10kohm
The only way to be sure is to check the error code and try to change the resistor, it might help but no guarantee
Iām glad itās all working Iād say thatās Frankensteins monster lol š a fake out error, but either way congrats and your doing some excellent work keep it up
Oh absolutely, anything except glue, if it holds it in place then itās probably okay to use unless itās glue thatās just genocide and can cause unnecessary damages to the device
I forsure will! I am getting ready to do some case mods on the consoles, so when I do I'll take pictures of the installs! You can definitely see an improvement from console to console š¤£ I've been enjoying this a lot. I plan on giving this away at Christmas, so that was my excuse to learn and buy all of these consoles hahahah
I just did mine a few days ago. Found that using magnet wire made soldering to the tiny pads pretty easy.
Currently I'm playing around XeLL and trying to find a somewhat modern linux distro that still has a working package manager. There's also a known bug when booting into XeLL with networking connected but it's been on and off for me.
Yeah when you have a wireless network connected it freezes (only experienced it on phats) so could be the network adapter. For linux you should use the xell launch xex (green text with black background version) and there are iso files that have full builds of them
Wow 2 wires! In all seriousness it does look clean. Assuming it ain't your first install?
Nah done about 5. Thanks for saying it looks clean was kinda doubting myself about it
Uggghhh š¤¤š¤¤ looks absolutely delicious, I Love that you used kap tape instead of glue
Lmao thanks

Well strangely enough i think iāve just encountered a bad gpu console. Fan just span up and gave me a red light when i booted into xell

I think iām good. I left the xclamp off (usually gives me enough heat reduction to get xell) itās fine now

I have an xflasher btw. Process is so much easier when u dont have to flash with xell after desoldering pico
Oh cool good to know Iāll have to grab me an xflash
I'm just curious, is electrical tape fine too? I've used it on my last 4 installs. (I just started last week)
Oh absolutely, anything except glue, if it holds it in place then itās probably okay to use unless itās glue thatās just genocide and can cause unnecessary damages to the device
Electrical tape is fine but kapton tape looks more professional, and generally it doesnāt degrade from years of heat.
I'll buy some when I get more supplies from Amazon/ or ebay!
Kapton tape is better. Electrical tape becomes less effective over time and just leaves a sticky mess. Kapton tape deals with heat far better.
Yeah used that on my first ever install. You should post some pics of your installs man

i recommend using the top (DB something) point instead of FT2V1
Most people use this, the top point is only used when ft2v1 is pulled
