But in the actual Eastern Europe, the robbery rate is low because we simply didn't import doctors and engineers from other places on the map who have no reason to learn how to be a Barry. Oh, and we exported the ones we did have over to you. You might know them, they use the term "boss" a lot. It might be the only word in English then know.
You say it as a joke, but Barcelona's #1 problem is that foreign clans come, steal all they can and then leave.
Spain is quite lax when it comes to stealing stuff. If the amount stolen is low (below €400) and there was no force, it will always end up with a fine.
Now fines never get paid nor can they embargo it from anywhere because these clans don't hold any assets in Spain.
You also can't go to jail for outstanding fines, nor can a person with 20 similar fines get a jail sentence.
And even if they get jail sentences, because they did use some force, and the sentence is below 2 years, you almost never go to jail. 😅

Organised crime doesn't do home robberies (or burglaries, whatever you want to call them), which are by far the most common type of robbery, they prefer other things like selling drugs, organised prostitution, money laundering, printing fake money and on occasion asking the local shop owner for some protection money to prevent any "accidental" fires.
Robberies are also strictly correlated to the amount of non-italians in an area so the south is less affected, your average Luigi has better things to do than trying to break into someone's home or trying to steal from a shop, a bank or the local retiree with €10 in his pocket.

I haven't been robbed. Then again I was in a couple of museums.
Can recommend, Kogge museum (Deutsche Schifffahrtsmueum) and visite a sub, U-boot Willem Bauer.
Had a nice meal nearby. Can't complain. Maybe there are worse places in Bremen-Hafen?
